M**,
So far, I love it.
I'm impressed. I decided to take the plunge and give mineral makeup a shot. I tend to get very red skin on my face, so I've always worried that powders couldn't really give me the coverage I need. However, I've tried every other kind of foundation (liquid, mousse, creams, etc.) and they just didn't lay right on my face as they wore throughout the day. For the record, I have fairly porous skin, and it gets oily easily. I've tried plenty of primers to prevent this, but a lot of money and no great results later, I decided to bite the bullet and try the one foundation routine I hadn't yet. Not wanting to spend even more money on something I was pretty skeptical of, I saw this on Amazon with pretty good reviews and gave it a shot. This came in the mail today within the estimated delivery date, in tact, and with everything shown. No complaints there. As I got it in the morning, I decided to try it right away. Immediately, I noticed that the sheet it comes with explaining each step had some steps the set did not contain. Not a big deal, because those things weren't in the Amazon description. I had thought I ordered "light" but it turns out, I had ordered "medium." While, if I re-order, I'd go with light, the medium works well enough. The primer worked very well. A little product went a long way, and my skin felt very soft after applying it. The product coverage was really good, initially. It went on smoothly and blended well. The brush it came with was pretty dense and did it's job. Not the most impressive brush in the world, but I did like it. It's the perfect size to travel with, and feels very sturdy. The bronzer is pretty dark for me, but the blush is a lovely color. It's shimmery, which I don't mind, but some might. The eyeshadows were lovely colors- possibly the most exciting thing about this kit. The pigmentation was lovely and it went on my skin and blended like a dream. My face looked really soft and nice after I applied. I was surprised by the coverage- not very heavy, but solid medium coverage. It didn't come with finishing spray, so I used the ELF stuff I had on hand, as well as my usual liquid liner and mascara.11 hours later, I'm writing this review, and my makeup has stayed put on my face, maintained it's natural look, and I am very, very happy and impressed. I went to a basketball game, ran errands, cooked, cleaned, and my face looks essentially the same as it did this morning. I'll continue to use it and update my review if this isn't how things pan out over time. But, as of now, I am very pleased with how well this has turned out.

Go a shade darker, but wont regret its amazing!
Great product but id recommend going a shade darker. I'm not a tan person and medium was perfect for me. Its a light coverage but definitly buildable if necessary. The concealer is great and did not get into the creases of my skin which oyher high brand name mineral products did for me , the bronzer was a little darker but its pretty, love the blush and the shimmer with it as well. All the eye shadows are nice not as glittery as id have hoped with the honey one. In the picture the only thing I added not IQ is a little glitter to my eyes. They do stay on all day no separation at all if I got sweaty so the primer and mist everything really works..i live in Arizona so that is impressive. I did have a little mess in my box once arrived because the primer leaked a little but no cracks or anything in it. The veil is nice I dont really use them so not the best opinion for that but the brush is a great brush just big. Overall great product, would definitly recommed and will buy again.

Go a shade darker
I ordered Medium, because summer is coming. I thought at first it may be too dark, but I’ll get a little sun and it will be fine. Medium leaves me looking washed out, even using the bronzer. If I order again, it’s hard to believe, but I would have to go at least one shade darker. Also, the setting spray comes out more like droplets than a mist, and leaves what look like scars on my face. Spraying further away from my face helps, but a lot of product is wasted when I do that. The makeup itself goes on smooth and looks natural, not caked on and dry.

Good coverage - but not FULL. Great for problematic skin!
I have very sensitive mixed skin, prone to allergies, and I avoid makeup foundations like a plague. But unfortunately I have to, because my job requires me to wear makeup (I am a performing artist), so I have to use mineral-based makeup that’s not too harsh on my skin and that covers just enough. BareMinerals is just too expensive for me, and after a bit of research, I decided to go for this one.My skin is pretty fair (not ghostly) with neutral undertones, and after reading the reviews, I decided to choose the shade medium. You get a ton of product: two foundation shades (medium and medium beige), bronzer, blush, eyeshadows, setting veil, primer, setting mist, bisque and a brush.I have to say, I should’ve gone for the fair one as unfortunately, I’m afraid medium (the lighter of the two) is a bit too dark for me. Right now I’m a bit tanned after summer so it can pass, but during winter it will definitely be too dark, so I’ll get a fair one. However, that’s not the reason I’m giving it 4 stars. For the amount of product you get, the price is great. I don’t like the primer - it’s too dry for my skin, so I had to get a new one, better suited for my skin, which is a bit of a pain since I bought this kit because it had one in it. Now, the foundation - it does not give you full coverage, if you’re going for that. I am not, so it works fine for me, but to get a full coverage you’d have to use ton of it! I personally use it to set my under-eye concealer (which I put before), and to balance my skin color, I’m lucky enough not to have any acne and blemishes.. If you do, this is not the thing for you.Bronzer, blush and eyeshadows are VERY pigmented, so go easy on them. Setting veil is the best thing of the whole set, setting mist works great and it dries fast, but you have to spray it REALLY far from the face if you don’t won’t the stains. The brush works just fine. For the price, it really is worth it if you aren’t going for a FULL coverage. It does cover, and it does it good enough, but not enough to give you a whole new skin. I personally prefer that.Would I buy it again? This starter kit is one-time-only thing for me, to try it out; but yes, I’ll continue buying IQ Natural products because it works well for me (except for the primer). Next time I’ll get the foundation (shade FAIR, not making that mistake again), concealer, setting veil and mist. Eyeshadows and blush will last me a long time. All in all, I DO recommend this set if you’re looking for something more “natural” that doesn’t suffocate your skin.
