I like the weight of these pieces....they're lightweight but not flimsy or cheap. I have other flatware but some of it is kind of heavy, especially compared to this pattern. I was afraid to take a chance on this because of the color....I didn't know if it would fade when washed in the dishwasher but after several dozen washings, the color & pattern look as pretty as new. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the size of the large fork and large spoon. They're both kind of oversized for my tastes (no pun intended). The fork handle is long, the tines are a little too long also; the spoon 'bowl' is bigger than I like. However the teaspoon and the salad fork are perfect. The pattern is neat & cool looking - very different from any other flatware I've ever owned and I'm surprised I like it because black & silver aren't my favorite colors yet they work here and are very pretty to set a table with. All in all I'm pretty happy & satisfied with them.

Everytime I run my dishwasher there are no more forks left in the drawer! Now there are! This set allows family members to pack a fork with their salads as they head out the door without me screaming bring home my forks!!!!Great balance beautiful set

I got one set for my husband/us at Christmas as we had lots of silverware, but no complete set. and just got this as the kids "lose" silverware! Holds up great, decoration is also holding up great!

Tablespoons too big but will use as serving spoons. Love the design and weight of utensils. Plan to enjoy every year for halloween.

I see many reviews saying not dishwasher safe so I was really concerned, but amazon has a pretty good return policy and these were the only flatware that everyone agreed on (multi-generation home). As soon as I received them, I put them right in the dishwasher. We do have a newer style basket with separaters. I have since washed them in the dishwasher multiple times and have yet to notice any issues. They aren't scratching or rusting (knock on wood) and seem to come clean really well. Perhaps different styles are made in an alternative way that makes them dishwasher safe? I'm not really sure, but we got the jungle ones and they are adorable. I will update if I ever notice problems.Also, the texture of these are nice and smooth. I was concerned the etching would bother me since I am sensitive to surfaces, but I haven't even noticed. All around, this was a great purchase and I intend to buy more styles. Christmas silverware, here I come!

Wash great in dishwasher. Guests want to know where to purchase them . So many compliments on the cutlery.
