There's no problem with the light itself. The problem is that this lamp is too heavy to stay in place. The lamps slides down on my forehead and that's why the elastic band on the back of my head moves upward. I've tried several adjustments by shortening the length of the elastic band but to no avail. I cannot see this will work while running. The batteries cannot be removed, hence the weight. The charger cable is for an indoor power outlet only and there is no USB plug on the power outlet end of the cable so you won't be able to charge it in your car for example. I'm keeping this for emergencies and I hope it will work better over a cap or a hat.

It's too big and heavy to wear on your head! It slides down onto my nose because the straps don't stay tightened. Bought 3 and now I'm told I'm not able to return them. I don't see any statement saying "NO RETURNS" on the page. First time this has happened! WOW!!!

I bought two 9000 lumen lights. This one and another one w/ the battery in the back and a more modern looking design. I liked the looks of this one. made me think of a coal miner... but what I was really hoping is that the big lens would diffuse a ton of bright light over an area. Instead the 9000 lumens are concentrated on a point which can't be adjusted and then a much less bright "aura" is diffused over a large area, but not all that bright. There's no zoom in/out and the thing is heavy on the front of your head, not to mention bulky. The other issue is that is uses a proprietary charger versus the standard USB and the batteries aren't replaceable.Basically this tech feels 3-5 years old versus the more modern one I bought alongside it and I'm much happier with (the other one is almost too bright!)

I'm a conductor on the night switcher job and have gone through several headlamps in the last year. All of them say waterproof until you're out in a heavy rain in the yard and suddenly switch between every light option available without being controlled. This headlamp takes the cake. It holds enough battery for a 12 hour shift, let's me see reflective from 50 car lengths, and is extremely durable even in heavy rain. The only downside is that its huge. I have to wear a ball cap to help keep it up and in place. Co workers think it looks ridiculous until I show how bright it is. I use it every night.
