Is this something you need to give with food or just put it in the water?

Each packet treats 10 gallons. You take water out and dissolve however many packets that you need in that water. Then you put that water back into the tank.

How long does it take for this to work? My betta has red camallanus worms hanging out of her body and I have dosed her for the past 2 days

It takes a few days to kill the worms. They'll turn gray when they're dead. It will take a few more weeks to completely pass the dead worms.

Whats the difference between this and Paracleanse?

They treat different type of parasites. People primarily use levamisole (Expel P) to treat roundworms like capillaria. Paracleanse helps treat hexamita, protozoans, and some internal thread worms

Is this safe with snails

Should be fine. I used it on a tank full of ramshorn snails with no problem. I'd be a bit cautious about using with Nerites though, based on what I've heard. Although it's definitely safer for invertebrates than Fenbendazole.
