Winco CMT-14 Round Tray, 14-Inch, Chrome,Medium

A lovely tray. Worth the $. Very satisfied.

Deadass one of my best purchases on Amazon. The sturdiness, the shining silver/reflection, the engraved patterns, it's just really nice. Don't know what else to say. If you're hesitant to buy this, don't be! I know some people used this simply for decoration, but I used it as an actually serving tray and it's awesome! It really enhanced the look of my cosplay, I'm super happy with it.

This tray is purely decorative. I wouldn't trust it to actually carry drinks across a room, though. For me, that's okay; i.e. I just wanted something upon which to place crystal glassware for display. The chrome plating is nice (not as nice as polished stainless steel, but like your standard chrome plated bathroom faucets), and so is the ornate pattern etched into the flat area. I like the fact that the rim is on the small side. Most of the time when you order an 'n'-inch platter the actual usable surface area is more like 'n-4' or less. I didn't measure, but I'm guessing the usable flat area on this tray is between 12.75-to-13 inches. It's enough to easily hold a 650ml decanter and a set of 6 DOF glasses (3.25" diameter each). I'm not keen on the packaging--just a cellophane wrapper--but it arrived w/o any nicks, scuffs, or scratches, so that's all that matters. I'm only giving 4 stars because as far as metal trays go, it's on the flimsy side. As I said, for display only. There's also something about the rim that I can't quite put my finger on, but it looks a little chintzy to me.

I absolutely love this tray. I wanted to display a cake on it for a bday. That was why I bought it. But now, somehow i am using it for so many other things. I was frying potatoes the other day and placed the fried potatoes on them to rest while frying onions. Have already tried it as a serving dish for tea and cookies. Very nice to have this tray around. Also it is a shiny silver and Washes so easily. Exactly what u hope a serving tray would look like. Very impressive

very good and large tray

This tray is great, especially for the price. I was concerned it would be thin or plastic-y because of the reviews of other similarly priced trays, but this one is sturdy and a decent weight. I use it under makeup and perfume bottles on a vanity, so I don't know how it would hold up for food and repeated washing/drying.

It looks great and the sheet metal feels reasonably thick. Unfortunately the metal is very soft. It came with a bump.
