Quality and Comfort are exactly what is pictured
This blanket is identical to the picture. It is very toasty.... very very big. I'm 5ft 3in and size 10 to 12. I could fit 2 of me in here without a squeeze.I was unsure to buy this, because so far in my journey to keep my energy bills down, I have actually spent a lot on thermals. But I wanted something I could throw on to my top half that's poking out the bed or later in the evening when it's relax time and I don't want 50 layers of clothing on.I can say this blanket is perfect. It is very thick and very warm. The zip is a definite bonus as I can use it as a thermostat... gets a bit warm in there... unzip. When is freezing, Zip up, tuck legs to chest.... if I pull the hood over too I can basically caccoon myself in this thing. The zip doesn't let a draft in or make it less comfortable. The hood is on the large side but there is a little magnetic clasp that works perfectly to hold it in place so it doesn't cover my eyes if allowed to fall forwards. There is a lot of blanket, I think this would fit most people adequately... possibly be too big for someone not so much smaller than me if using when trying to be productive, but as a blanket for chilling in, it would be fine. It comes to just below my knees. The pockets are large, my hands can just reach to the bottom of the pockets when I am stood up.The sleeves are very long... If not for the cuff... the sleeves pass the tips of both my hands by about 15cm. Someone with longer arms or larger in the body should have no problem.TMI: The blanket is the same colour as my sofa... so I cacooned myself in to see if I blended in.... then I popped out and my cat jumped 3ft in the air... it is worth it just for the entertainment.... you know.... pretending I'm Professor Slughorn from Harry Potter transforming from a sofa to human............ maybe just me :DSum Up.... Worth it as a blanket... Worth it for Quality.... Worth it if you're a bit insane and think you're funny.... Would be amazing with thumb holes!! No issue that I can see other than possibly too big for tiny humans. And a bonus... I did not turn my heating on yet and my room temperature is only 17 degrees but I am not cold! AmazingUpdate Jan 2024: I actually purchased a second of these about 1 month after the first (plus another for a friend) so I could rotate when one needs washing. Washes absolutely fine at 40degrees and has gone through the dryer without incident. The sherpa is not as fluffy looking (which tends to happen to all sherpa when washing) but is still very warm and comfortable. Both blankets have been washed and worn many many times by this point. To this day, the only issue I have in these blankets is that my cat wants to permanently use me as her own heated sofa when I'm wearing it, suppose its karma for pretending I was the sofa that time üI'm actually here to buy another for a another friend.

Supersized Snuggler
During the coldest part of the winter that is now receding, my heating failed and despite already owing a hoodie blanket I was getting my very cold every evening. I thought an extra layer might help so bought this zipped hoodie to go over my existing one. Not only is the colour fantastic it is soft, super warm and had enough room to encompass the several layers I was wearing when in my house, comfortably. It is also long enough to fold my legs up into when watching TV. My boiler is fixed but I still love it and use it often (without the second hoodie blanket) as it is easy to slip into and out of without having to pull it over my head. My heating bills will definitely be lower this year - bonus.

Best I could find for the money
I ended up buying a few similar oversized jumpers trying to find one I was happy with, so I feel I've ended up as a bit of an expert on these!Fit: Sometimes people say in reviews that it's too big. That's the whole point of these - they are supposed to be big! It means you can easily put it over the top of other clothes or just wear it on its own. With similar products I found the hood was often too small or not enough fabric meant your head would be carrying the weight, leaving me with a headache after a while. This fitted well and I was very happy with it. I also decided I wanted it long so it would go to my knees, meaning I could sit with my feet tucked inside when curled up on the sofa.Softness: It's vacuum packed when you first receive it so you may well feel a bit disappointed when you first get it out. Don't panic! After a while, once it's recovered from being squashed in the bag, it feels soft. It isn't particularly thick but it feels nice.Pocket: I decided I liked the front pocket that this has rather than having two side pockets. It means you can put your hands in to keep them warm, whereas those with side pockets you can't really do that as they're not where you would want them.Warmth: I surprised how warm I was with it on. It's not as thick as I hoped it would be but it does the job well. If you do the zip up and put the hood up, you will definitely be able to turn the heating down, if not off. I turned mine down but I know others have said they could turn it off. I was wearing it when it was below 0 degrees.Cost: This was around £6-£8 more than the others I tried, and it was definitely worth it.Final decision: I would have happily kept it, and I was so relieved to finally be happy with one of these (on the fourth attempt!). However, I was very lucky to be given an Oodie for Christmas. With the Oodie I have been able to turn the heating off and it is very soft - I love it! However, obviously the Oodie is a lot more expensive so I definitely wouldn't have bought one for myself! Fortunately Amazon returns are really easy so I could just box it back up and send it back.I definitely recommend this product! For the money I think you will be lucky to find better.

Very warm and cosy
It’s very warm and cosy, the fleece inside is extremely soft and the the outside is really soft too, it’s a really nice long length and the sleeves are long which I love too, so I can hide my hands inside them when they get cold. The zip is a really nice addition to it, because I don’t have to pull it on and off over my head, I can just pull it on like a jacket and zip it up if I get really cold or unzipped if i’m too warm. The washing instructions say cold wash and gentle spin cycle, you can’t tumble dry it.An extra tip for the care of the fleece is to brush it with a medium-soft toothed pet brush, (you know the ones with tons of bristles like a broom or toothbrush), this helps to keep the fleece soft and prevent it from clumping/matting together, which makes it less soft.

Very comfortable
A good size for the larger lady, ample room, and very comfortable to wear. Altogether very pleased.

Saves on heating bills
This is my go-to when I'm working from home. No point heating a whole house if there is only me using one room. Its lovely and cosy and easier to get on and off than another well known brand, as its zip up
