Great look, easy to install, a little confused, but I'd buy again...
Ok, I'll list what I like, what I don't, and why I'm confused. What I like about these: 1) real wood, 2) thick sturdy boards, 3) smart design in that the mounting holes that accept the mounting rods are 16" apart, which meant I was able to get at least 1 screw per mount into a stud, while the second screw of each mount took a plastic dry wall anchor and screw. 4) great screws, not those cheap chinese-made ones that snap when you torque them into a stud and/or grind out the screw head 5) decent stain, 6) look good once mounted to wall.Seriously, the way I have these mounted to studs, and the quality of the brackets and the shelves, these bad boys are not budging. What I didn't like: 1) no plastic dry wall anchors were included despite listing saying they would be. I only got the screws. I happened to have some anchors in my toolbox, so no biggie (only needed 4 total since other 4 screws were direct into studs). 2) brackets for one set were crap. What I am confused about. I actually got two sets of these. The boards from both sets look the same. However, the mounting brackets looked like they came from two different companies. One set of mounting brackets (the ones I actually used to mount the shelves) were nicely done, industrial, computer engineered, sturdy, exact, etc....everything they needed to be for precise position, measuring, and fit into the shelves. However, the second set looked completely different....crappy black powder coat, rods only about 3 inches long (not nearly long enough to support full weight out away from wall, and not as long as other, better set), mounting plates (flat part you'd put against the wall and send screws through) were all cut by hand and were inconsistent, not only in size, but weren't squared. As a result, drill holes were all off from bracket to bracket. Additionally, the mounting posts (the rods that sit perpendicular to the mounting plate) were welded on crooked. Each rod had it's own unique cant/slant either in the north/south or east/west direction so when you stood them all up on a table, they pointed to different spots. The rods were also cut by hand at different heights. In fact, one of the brackets had a slice in it near the mounting plate....kinda like someone thought about just cutting it off, but then got 2/3rd of the way through, and was like, "nah, I'm done."Anyway, the truth is I really like the way these turned out and the "good" brackets, paired with the common spacing of the mounting holes in the shelf, made these really easy to install. The shelves are good quality. It's kind of a natural finish from a texture standpoint, not a shiny, sealed up feel, but I'm all good with that. I would definitely buy these again. Aside from the crappy mounting brackets (which I didn't use), this was all good.If the seller wants the other set of shelves back, just let me know. If the seller will let me buy more of just the "good" mounting brackets, I'm open to that as well.

They're Gorgeous!!
I have to say, these shelves are gorgeous, but even better than that, the company/people who stand behind them are great. I ordered these on a whim and the first ones that came in the shipment had a small chip in it. Without me having to call them, they contacted me to check on the order and when they found out that they weren't 100% to my liking, they offered to replace these because they wanted these to be perfect. It's increasingly rare to actually get to speak to a human being and I am thoroughly impressed with these guys. The shelves themselves are extremely sturdy, they are about 1.25-inches in thickness, so you can put really heavy objects on them. Also, the cut and grain of the wood is very nice. If you're looking to keep a rustic/country look, these are great, or you can add brackets if you want to add a little chic to it like I did. With brackets, they are so sturdy, you can swing off them!!I've posted these to my Facebook page and I got more 'Likes' than any other post, plus I had tons of messages of, "Where did you get these?" and "Can you install these for me, please???" So I know I picked the right shelves. All in all, they are worth the price if you just don't have the time or tools to create your own, sometimes it's just easier to click a button and have gorgeous shelves arrive at your doorstep! They come with hidden brackets that post into the wood itself, you can use them as-is, or you can add your own brackets as well if you want to give them some extra strength and style, although, they are perfect on their own. I would buy these again and would look for other items from this seller. Great job!!

Great Shelves...TERRIBLE Packaging
These shelves are great for the cost. A lot of reviews complain that they are just stained boards, which they are. However, they are inexpensive! You're not going to get 36" raw edge, organic wood for this price! These look amazing and serve their purpose.HOWEVER, THE PACKAGING!!! OMG. As I pull the box inside from my front door all I hear is moving parts inside clanking around. I just hope that the wood is wrapped. NOPE. The brackets are loose in the box to run free and there is one piece of paper sorta thrown in for good measure. I was lucky the scratches were minimal and I could put them on the under-side of the shelf.Overall, yes, I'd order these again. I'd just ask there is a little more TLC when shipping them. I feel like one of the lucky ones who didn't have to return due to damage.

Great purchase!
I love the way these shelves look. They came with all the hardware and were easy to install and sturdy in use. They are definitely a very simply made product. A person with the right tools could make this easily (it's a shelf.... most shelves can be made easily) so for that point, I hate paying so much but they are really gorgeous, regardless. One of them did come a little wonky. The hole that the bracket inserts into must be a touch too big or something because the shelf sits down slightly. It's only mildy annoying and I practically forgot about it (it isn't visible when looking at the shelves) once I'd placed everything on and walked away.

GOOD: The shelves are nice
GOOD: The shelves are nice, solid wood and look exactly as pictured - even better than I expected. The brackets are heavy duty welded - also nice.BAD: One of the shelves had the mounting holes drilled crooked which made leveling the shelf a nightmare. Check the holes before installation.Notes - the finish is somewhat oily, don't think I would want to put books on them unless they had been dried out for a while. You may want to drill recesses in the shelf to accommodate the heads of the mounting screws. While not necessary it makes shelf sit closer to wall by a bit - only necessary of using pan head screws.
