'Kind of Blue' is the now classic studio album by the legendary American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, recorded in 1959 at Columbia's 30th Street Studio in New York City. The album features Davis's ensemble sextet consisting of saxophonists John Coltrane and Julian 'Cannonball' Adderley, pianist Bill Evans, bassist Paul Chambers, and drummer Jimmy Cobb, with new band pianist Wynton Kelly appearing on one track in place of Evans.

Excellent quality vinyl.
Arrived the very next day after ordering. Arrived in a very sturdy and secure packaging from Amazon. The record sleeve itself was protected in a plastic sleeve of its own. Full weight vinyl, Blue/black marble. This is a classic album and a must if your into American Jazz

Great musicians!
Just the kind of jazz blues I was looking for! Glad I bought this!Update 2/2015: returned 1st album because of strange noise on this vinyl. Got another one and while this one did not have the noise it the piano fluttered on side one track one. I thought it was my turntable but upon looking at my cartridge when playing, I could see the cartridge bouncing when hearing the flutter. Came to the conclusion that the record was defective so I returned it. Hopefully this “deluxe” version is better.

not an expert on all jazz, I enjoyed it, but I guess I don't get its acclaim.
