Don't waste your time. It's about lust, not love.
Review is for Roomie Wars only (I don't plan to read the other two books in this box set.)Roomie Wars is about a guy named Drew and his love for sex, not love for the heroine. Seriously. I kept thinking it would get better, but it is never what I'd call romantic. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, especially when those friends are also roommates, but I could have skipped this one. It is more about Drew's lewd thoughts about sleeping with women. Seems like that's all he thinks about. He switches these vulgar thoughts to his roommate Zoey, but it's still missing the romance. He thinks about how often they could have slept together in the 4 years they've been roommates. He's not very likeable and comes across as a standoffish, obnoxious jerk. They both have sex with others, and one incident about Drew with another lady is described in detail at the start of the book. I don't need details of the hero having sex with someone else, looking for someone to have sex with, constantly thinking about sex with someone else or remembering past sexual experiences. The connection between the H&h is lacking. They've lived together 4 years, but apparently they've lived separate lives, with her sitting on the couch missing her ex and with him going out looking for women to sleep with. He seems to find Zoey more annoying than anything until he suddenly sees her as more than just his roomie. And the word "roomie" is overused to the point that it becomes silly. Drew's feeling for Zoey only seem to make him very aggressive and angry. These two have lived together 4 years and can't talk to each other about how they feel. It's okay for a misunderstanding or assumption to delay a couple getting together, but there are so many assumptions and misunderstandings--and no communication--that the story is more frustrating than anything. There's one incident as well that is maddening. Drew is very intoxicated and does something sexual with Zoey, but of course, he doesn't remember. But she doesn't even stop the situation, knowing that he's out-of-his-mind drunk. A roomie and friend, as they constantly refer to each other, wouldn't allow anything like that to happen when the other is drunk. I was bothered by WHAT happened, by HOW it happened, and by the fact that the heroine allowed it to happen. And then she tells him later that he forced himself on her the night he was drunk, which takes the whole scene to another level of disturbing. Nothing about that drunken scene is romantic at all. It is beyond unnecessary and effectively kills any romance, if there was ever any to begin with.My review focuses a lot on how unlikeable Drew is, but Zoey isn't very likeable either. First of all, it is disgusting for her to allow her roommate to engage in a sexual act with her while he's nearly black-out drunk. It's not okay just because she's female. A sober man who allows any sexual act to occur with a drunk woman is seen as despicable. Double standard. Plus, Zoey has spent a year lying around on her couch, confused about her feelings for her bad boy ex who cheated with her best friend, which she witnessed with her own eyes. Her ex is a cheating, manipulative loser. Move on already. Needless to say, when Zoey and Drew finally do get together, it's anti-climactic. This book wasn't what I expected with the title Roomie Wars, and not in a good way. I thought this would be a fun, banter-filled, steamy romance between roommates, but it was just a disappointment.

Drew and Zoey are amazing together
Ok - all of you go one click this one...I’ve just finished it and aside from the bit where I was cursing Kat T. Masen and wanting to De-friend her, these books are amazing.I read Roomie Wars a couple of years ago and fell in love with Zoey’s quirks and Drew’s way of handling her. He was the best thing for her, even if she couldn’t see it.Then came Wedding Wars - for anyone who’s planned a wedding you remember (cause you can never forget how incredibly insane things get, then add an 80’s tragic and bridezilla who’s more than a little eccentric... Drew has the patience of a saint)Then today, Kat dropped on me Baby Wars and this book is filled with all the feels... from Zoeys pure fear at finding out she’s going to be a Mum, to actually growing her baby then the delivery..with 15min to read I was ready to tell Kat to 🖕🖕A light hearted, fun read with possibly some of my favourite characters of all time... get it now!

Fall in love with Zoey and Drew!!
Roomie WarsKat has once again outdone herself with this book!! I am a big fan of the whole roomie romance genre but Kat's has went above and beyond and was definitely one of my favorites! You will fall in love with Zoey and Drew from the first moment you meet them and the banter they have between them as they navigate through their friendship and the feelings that unexpectedly start growing between them. Roomie Wars was an original, sweet, emotional, angsty, and at times infuriating read but it will hold your attention and have you sitting at the edge of your seat from start to finish. It was very well written with multi dimensional characters and a very original emotional angsty story line that will keep you captivated and one you will not soon forget.Wedding WarsAfter reading Roomie Wars and hearing that Zoey and Drew were getting another book, I jumped at the chance to read this and it didn't disappoint!! I loved their quirky, hilarious, sweet friends to lovers romance and this was the perfect continuation as they take the next step towards their forever: wedding planning. Wedding Wars was super angsty and about gave me an anxiety attack the whole way through. I had no clue where this story was going and it had me captivated and on the edge of my seat the whole way through till I was left wanting more of these two!!This story was quirky, funny, and sweet like Roomie Wars, but Kat threw in some real heart tugging, honest, serious moments that will leave you heavy hearted. She developed both these characters in a real, honest way, as they both questioned their feelings and thoughts towards their future together. This book had me shouting at them to get their acts together but then in the next moment wanting to reach in and hug them close and give them comfort. I love these two even more now after reading this book.Baby WarsI was really excited to find out that Drew and Zoey were getting another book! With Drew being an exceptionally smart surgeon and Zoey's 80's obsession, these two are seriously two of my favorite characters! This short and sweet novella naturally takes us into the next steps of their relationship, which after marriage, is pregnancy and babies. Going in this journey with them from roommates to best friends to spouses to parenthood has been a hilarious, wonderful, yet emotional adventure. I loved watching them enter each of these new stages in their lives and I felt like I was right there alongside them. I devoured this book in one sitting; it was just that good!! These two have a way of sucking you in...in the best way possible. This was an excellent conclusion to their story and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommend it!! I wish I could rate it more than 5 stars; that's how much I love Zoey and Drew.

No idea why I finished reading this.
I managed to get through all three books in this set, but I'm not sure why. I almost called it quits multiple times in all three stories. The characters swap continually between between blind jealousy, and making unfounded assumptions. I can not imagine real roommates wouldn't just up and have left prior to this. The story line in some areas drag on, and in others are so rushed that there are large gaps between entries. I will concede the author handles the multiple viewpoints well, but that is quickly wiped away by the poor or lack of editing.Typically I re-read books multiple times. Having struggled to make it through this once, I can not imaging wanting to revisit. I got the book for free, but that did not make it any better.Pass - look for something else. I wish I had.

3 1/2 stars. Only read book 1
Cute story. Thought it was going to be great. Loved when the "roomies " almost got it on. But then silly things happened that let the story down. Zoey was so immature for a 29 year old and I found her annoying. I did find it cute and even had a few tears at one point. But I was happy to be able to leave it after the 1st book and. That I didn't need to read the next 2.

Light and funny
Funny and enjoyable. The characters were good, realistic in that they had imperfections. The reason I've dropped a star is there were some gross parts.... I didn't need the visual of shaving 'down there' which was repeated a few times. Overall it kept me reading all the books in the series.

AMAZING
I loved this series and right now I'm going through serious withdrawals. I read Roomie wars right until 7am - who needs sleep when you can read! I love the friendship and chemistry between the main leads and I love the journey of their lives after getting together in the next two books. Highly recommended read!
