Beauty Is in the Street: A Visual Record of the May '68 Paris Uprising

For a lover of poster art, this is a great resource. Fortunately, English interpretations are supplied for all the posters. You'll be doing some flipping back and forth between the art and the interpretations, but this is a minor inconvenience. The messages are as relevant today as they were 50 or so years ago.

After seeing just a few of these online in small fuzzy format, it is a joy to finally see most of the posters and with a clarity never known before. You will want a second copy just to tear them all out and frame them all. Huge book crafted well for the size and page count.

when I received this item the packaging was immaculate not a mark on it yet when I opened the package the book had a hole the size of a penny right through the cover and first few page's so it must of been packed when already damaged. Not very good customer care
