Easy to install. Very good quality and looks great. Should last another 20 years!

Attractive, made well and durable. Great for difficult environments. Sealed globe eliminates moisture deterioration and wind damage to lighting element. No maintenance plastic looks like black metal finish and no rust. Screws should be stainless steel so the light will survive in the environment it was designed for.

I like the size and the amount of light that it gives with a 60 watt bulb. It is perfect for my back deck.

No complaints about the fixture. Hoping it will last installed in a salt water environment on a dock. Only complaint is that the bulb included with the fixture went out after just two days! I was afraid it was the wiring and should have changed the bulb first instead of taking down the wiring box - which was much harder! I like that it casts the light down instead of up into your eyes. Almost matches the fixture that I had to replace and wish it came in other colors. Wiring was very easy and I'm far from an electrician. Installation was easy as well, but there should be a second "set screw" to lock the fixture to the base because it rocks a little.

Ordered 4 to be placed on dock pilings. The base is a heavy aluminum, while the lamp top is a plastic material, but seems heavy duty and is well designed. They look nice installed and hopeful that it will withstand FL sun and wind. I would suggest adding an additional screw opposite the set screw provided that secure the top to the base. I drilled and tapped 2 holes and with a SS set screw the lamps are nice and tight.

These were installed as Dock lites in 2013, amazing that we can still buy replacement lites today! They are stylish and functional.

I bought and installed 10 of these on my dock in January 2024. All but 3 have quit working due to corrosion causing one or both wires to detach from the bulb base. Horrible product. Avoid. I'm now looking to replace with something with reasonable quality.UPDATED -- I believe the advanced corrosion was caused by a dissimilar metal interaction between the light bulb base (aluminum) and the socket (iron / copper). In email discussion with the seller they noted that they don't usually sell the fixture with a lightbulb included, but just did so this time as they had some in house. Long story short, they sent me replacement needed. If you buy this fixture be sure to use bulbs with a base material that is not aluminum. I've replaced all bulbs and hopefully that resolves the issue. I upgraded the rating to a 3 as a result of the sellers responsiveness, and my assessment of the root cause of the issue.

This item was a replacement of a very old one. So it should last a long long time!
