So I don't know a lot about glasses but here is what I do know, these are great old fashioned glasses. They are just the right size to hold a large 2.5" ice ball. Can easily hold a 1.75" cube (haven't tried a 2" cube). The design has enough ridges on it that if the glass gets a little condensation on it that it remains easy to hold. Overall it has a nice weight to it, and the glass seems thick enough that it could take a beating. Looks great with a bit of bourbon in it.The only real negative I have is it has very noticeable parting lines on each side of the glass.I think they are good for the price.

I don’t expect it to be the top of the line, but at the price I got these I am thoroughly happy with the fabulous looking crystal that has zero defects and looks great.

You get what you payed for. I think they look really great! I can't see any seams and they sure do sparkle.Unfortunately, one of them was broken. Not the sellers fault, I think. The package was in an Amazon box, and the packing was all on one end.I'm giving 5 stars, cause of that.

these are georgious cups. they have a sturdy feeling to them, and they wash well in the dishwasher!

I'm not an authority on these sorts of things. I am happy with my purchase but I did have some slight issues.The Pros:-They're quite nice. They seem like a good standard scotch or double rocks glass.-They have a good weight to them.The Cons-For a "Crystalline" product, they do have a very slight seam (see one of the photos). It is quite faint and luckily it's not something that sticks out like a sore thumb. Most people don't care, but if you're the type who are finicky about their glassware, maybe this one isn't for you.I ordered two sets of 4, one of the four glasses arrived broken. Luckily Amazon was happy to replace the broken one.As I'm writing this, these glasses were 60% off. Had I paid full price, I would say I didn't get my moneys' worth, but at the price I paid I'd say I got a good bargain.It's nothing I would buy as a wedding gift for a close family member, but definitely something I'd have at home for when company comes over. They're not dishwasher safe (but good glassware isn't meant to go in the dishwasher). And it's nice enough that company would be impressed but not so nice that I'd be upset if one broke.Definitely a step up from standard glassware.

The author of the description has been very truthful and meticulous to let you know everything you need to know about these. You need to read ALL of it. What I am referring to is that these lovely glasses are not the razor-sharp hand cut Waterford of yesteryear that some of us remember. These are not hand cut and are not made in Ireland. They ARE machine cut and come from Italy, but DO feature the Waterford stamp. They are indeed lovely and are a value version of the very expensive forerunners. I am very happy with mine - in fact, they are for a gift and will be lovely. Just don't be surprised when you go to inspect them & you don't cut your fingers. A+++. Great value and still happy!
