I recently mounted my Samsung S90D using a VERY low profile wall mount (the type that is fixed position and not articulating). I pre-ran two HDMI cables through the recessed in-wall cable management that existed in my apartment. One was a 10ft cable, and one was a 6ft cable. My crucial mistake was that only the 6ft cable was an HDMI 2.1 cable. This became a crisis when I realized my new soundbar required an HDMI 2.1 cable for eARC passthrough to the TV. The 10ft HDMI 2.0 cable would not work for Atmos or Xbox Series X content, and the 6ft HDMI 2.1 cable was JUST too short to be plugged into the correct TV HDMI port and also reach through the wall to the soundbar. I was stressing because the ultra-slim TV mount makes it difficult to get back there and run a new 10ft HDMI 2.1 cable through the wall. I was going to have to resort to inviting a buddy over to help me pull the whole TV off the wall, which seemed ridiculous just to run a single cable. But I refused to have an exposed cable running up the wall from my soundbar, because what's the point of going through all that trouble to get a good-looking wall mounted TV just to have cables hanging off like an amateur? I was a little skeptical about quality loss or incompatibility from using an extender like this, but I took the chance anyway. I was able to reach back and attach this to the existing short cable and get it into my TV without even moving the TV off the wall an inch. Breathed a sigh of relief when my soundbar immediately recognized the HDMI 2.1 cable, and now I have full quality passthrough video and audio. I'm not exactly an audiophile, but I do care about sound and video quality. I've never been a believer in overpriced cables because I haven't noticed any difference in video or audio quality using a $100 cable vs. a $10 cable, as long as both are certified HDMI 2.1 from a decent brand. UGREEN has been a brand I've used for PD wall chargers and other computer accessories, and they've always worked great while being MUCH more affordable than "bigger" name brand products with similar specs. This was no different - it was a super affordable solution to a self-made problem, and I don't think any audiophile would have a clue that I rigged up a cheap Frankenstein HDMI 2.1 cable with this extender, since no one ever has to see any cables when they come over now. Great value and quality, I'm very satisfied.

I used this on my wall mounted TV, it's a hassle to get to the HDMI because it doesn't swivel out. I used this on the ports and made connections a lot easier! Cable quality is great, thicker cord. Fits perfect and carries my 4k 120hz signal no problem through eArc. Also connected it to my AV receiver and no problems with connectivity.

I have Amazon basics HDMI 2.1 in the walls but it was too short. I was using a coupler and an older HDMI cable before and I would get bad dropouts and flickering. Now this extender fixed all that. I’m able to get Dolby Vision and Atmos both working from my PC to my LG TV.

These cables are absolutely perfect. They do exactly what they say they will do. I originally purchased and installed 2 iBirdie HDMI 30ft 8k cables for my PS5 & Xbox Series X not realizing I needed about an extra 5 or 6ft for each cable. Instead of purchasing new cables I found these Ugreen HDMI Extenders and they do exactly what I needed them to do. No input lag, no nothing picture still looks amazing 4k at 120HZ. Highly recommend. Don’t listen to the idiots that are clueless and complain about everything. These cables frekin ROCK!!!!

This HDMI extension helps me connect my Roku Stick to my big screen TV. The Roku Stick is great for streaming, but the location of the HDMI connectors on my TV won't allow me to plug it in directly - part of the TV housing gets in the way. I plugged the Roku Stick into this cable and then the cable into the TV and I can stream to my heart's content. 5 Stars and highly recommended.

I bought this to save my gpu's hdmi port from repeated plugins and it has been working great . works as advertised
