Kaiser Doll Stand 2275 - Black Doll Stand for 11" to 12" Small-Waisted Fashion Dolls, 3-Pack

I have recently begun acquiring vintage reproduction Barbies and the stands that come with them leave much to be desired. They either come with a three-piece stand that goes around the waist or a two-piece stand that the doll straddles. The straddle stand is unstable and frankly kind of weird- it wedges between her legs. The waist portion of the three piece stand (which works similarly to these kaiser stands) is prone to breakage. Having been previously familiar with this type of stand which came in the box with porcelain dolls I received for Christmas as a kid, I was happy to see these in Barbie-size. I purchased these in black in the three pack. They are supporting the front three dolls in the photograph. (The three in the back are on the three plastic Barbie stands which are still usable) I am completely satisfied with these stands in terms of durability, ease of use and value for the money- They actually become cheaper with greater quantity. These simple, effective stands are visually unobtrusive and reasonably light in weight and hold the dolls upright and stable without toppling. My cat likes to walk across this table where I display my dollies and has yet to knock over one of these in the Kaiser stands. That said, I doubt that he’s tried that hard or that he would fail to knock one over should he decide to take a mighty swing at her. I really like that they come in a few different colors. I will probably order a three pack in white and another three pack in black or maybe the pink or lavender. I would suggest separating the wire part of the stand from the metal platform, placing that around the doll’s waist and then fitting the wire support into the upright portion of the metal platform. I don’t have any Ken Dolls but I will update when and if I get any. These do fit around the thicker waist of my “tall” fashionista doll and easily accommodate her extra height. They also fit very well around the tiny, swivel waist of my Candi Dolls(seated). The shortest doll these will allow is a standard 11.5” Barbie and will hold dolls at least an inch and a half taller. I am dubious about any of the shorter Fashionista dolls since these hold a standard Barbie with the wire support fully inserted into the base. If you have more dolls than stands like I do, I highly recommend picking up a three or a six pack in any of the available colors.

Kaiser doll stands are well made and don't scratch the dolls displayed, but there seems to be a thinning of the metal polls that hold the dolls. If you don't pull out the doll holding bracket first, put the doll in it, and then put the poll and doll back in the base, the bracket twists causing the doll to slip from side to side. I've had trouble with several of the dolls falling way over in the stand, and trying to fix it just makes it worse. It's very frustrating! I'm not sure if the thickness of the metal has been diminished, or the design has changed, or it's me. I don't remember this problem years ago when I used these stands for Barbies.However, if you do it as stated above it seems to hold dolls just fine. But I haven't done much shuffling/switching of the dolls yet to know if anything will worsen down the line. They still seem less sturdy to me than they used to be.

I bought the 3 pack and I have to say for the price I am very happy! I got them to use for a couple Monster High dolls that I have that didnt come with stands and they work great! They dont fit EXACTLY to their waistline seeing as how MH dolls have super tiny waists but they definitely hold the doll in place from falling over or falling out of the stand itself. Plus they arms being metal you can also bend them a little to get a much more fit feel if you wish. For me they work great for MH dolls!

Love them but they are too pricey and I did not like that they arrive in a padded envelope. I was glad that the stands weren't damaged.

This package of 3 was a perfect value! The doll stands are much more sturdy than those that I have used in the past and do not tumble forward. The prongs to hold the doll can barely be seen and is not intrusive to the overall presentation of the doll.

These work so much better than the plastic doll stands. I buy about 6-9 of these every month. The are very sturdy and hold the dolls quite well, except for the "curvy" barbies. They do not hold those very well due to a larger butt mold. The black is a very nice black and look great in photos with black background. I have these in both white and black.

I have two Harry Potter Barbie dolls, Hermione and Ginny, and they fit into the stand nice and snugly. Great for posing.
