Don’t waste your time or money.
This product is awful. First one I had didn’t last 24 hours. The second one a little over a week. Charges and connects to your phone initially but then getting it to charge again is a challenge at best. Charging connection - awful, barely strong enough to hold the device (without strap). When the battery dies you’ll be lucky if it ever charges again. The original go-tcha lasted years and 1000 times better than this.

Gotcha Classic
Great product disconnects too fast sometimes but easily solved

Poor battery life, hard to charge and screen too sensitive
I’ve used these for years and never had any real problems with them but the latest version, in spite of boasting a colour display and a battery meter, is a significant downgrade on the older model. The battery life is less than half what the old one gives (I have one of each at present) and it seems to run out quite abruptly in spite of the warning meter. When the battery runs out, it’s nearly impossible to position the short wire in such a way that the weak magnet in the charge cable will actually keep the device on the charger and if you set it down whilst charging more than half the time the charger turns about a millimetre and the device disconnects so you leave it charging and come back to find that the battery is still empty because the charger has disconnected. It’s also possible to put it on the charger upside down so it won’t charge at all. The old slide-in charger design wasn’t perfect but it did at least work above 50% of the time.I use it with the vibrate feature turned off but the screen is really sensitive so if you even brush against the device lightly or it touches anything (like your sleeve or a desk or something - real risks if worn on the wrist but worse if you have a fob-type holder) then it turns itself on with a loud and violent vibrate which apparently drains the battery. So to summarise, it won’t charge properly, even from full the battery only lasts about 4 hours on a good day, and it’s noisy and intrusive. The old one was so nice. I would quite happily have just bought another.

Go-tcha
Different to others I've had. The black band is more subtle which is nice, this is lucky as I don't think this one can be removed like others. VERY fiddly to charge and disconnects if any of your storage is full, which is very annoying.

Easy to use
Battery life is hit & miss. Sometimes lasts 2 days either times only a day. Easy to use

Disappointing On All Levels
Where to start with this thing…first off:BATTERY LIFE. Or lack there of. The battery only lasts around 2 hours. So if you are planning to use it on a day out, while in work, while driving, etc, don’t expect much game play time as it is fully drained before a standard film has even finished. It can’t even complete half of community day. The original Go-tcha lasts several days before needing charged.THE CHARGER. The charging design is terrible. This Go-tcha has two small prongs that magnetise into two tiny holes on the Go-tcha. It is so flimsy that one small knock and it stops charging. The original Go-tcha would slide into its charger, so it was secure.DISCONNECTING FAULT: Normally the standard connection time of a Go-tcha or Go Plus is an hour. This Classic Go-tcha disconnects sometimes after only 5 minutes of connection, then other times it behaves and stays connected.THE STRAP. The strap is not child friendly. I am a female adult and the strap is too large for my wrist, so a kid (the targeted audience) would not be able to wear it without it falling off. The strap also feels cheap and thin.REMOVAL FROM STRAP: Again, not child friendly. I find it very difficult to get it out of the strap. It is secure in the strap, but too secure as your really have to put force into getting it out.TOO BULKY. The original Go-tcha is much smaller. (Shown in my picture). This Classic Go-tcha is too bulky on the wrist or to be placed onto a keyring and then onto your keys as I do. It’s almost double the size of the original.FAULT IN SCREEN: When it starts up, the whole screen flashes black and white, like white noise/static on an old television. (Shown in my picture).DAMAGED: I think mine was preowned has the back is damaged and lifting. (Shown in picture).VIBRATION FAULT: I have the vibration turned off, but it still vibrates. It seems to randomly vibrate (sometimes, not every time) when I touch it, lift it or set it down. So if you want it to be silent, it is not at all, as it is a loud aggressive vibration that won’t turn off.THE PRICE: The price is ridiculous for the standard it gives. The original Go-tcha is worth the price, and it goes the distance in all ways. This Classic Go-tcha can’t even last a standard evening walk.OVER ALL: A complete disappointment that I won’t be using.

Useless
I very rarely leave reviews. However, I feel duty-bound to warn people not to buy this. My original gotcha broke after several years and I lost my Go-tcha Evolve. This is without a doubt the worst purchase linked to the game I’ve ever made. The screen is unresponsive, the battery doesn’t last, charging is intermittent and poor quality. Really it’s not worth it. I strongly advise anyone not to buy this.

Terrible Product - do not buy
Awful product - zero stars! I've had the regular Got-Cha for about 3 years and have not had any issues. I have truly enjoyed it and wanted to purchase an additional gotcha for my girlfriend. This was the product I purchased for her and it has been a very disappointing experience. This gotcha started glitching 1 week into having it. It would inconsistently work and disconnect from devices and then the battery charge and life would no longer last an hour. 3 weeks into having the product the gotcha completely died. It no longer charges and has been off. We have attempted all trouble shooting with no luck. Do not buy this product - waste of money!

Too many problems
An autocatcher is such a great idea - especially for while driving... but unfortunately the Go-tcha classic has too many issues for me.I purchased 2 devices - one for me (I use a Samsung S22 ultra) and one for my partner (iphone) and although I believe my particular device was faulty it's apparent in the "working" device the following, already pointed out by other reviews...1. Very difficult to charge. A weak magnet on a short usb cable, that has to be right in a specific position and then it falls out every time.2. Battery once charged doesn't last long.3. Constantly looses connection and needs to re-paired.4. Very slow to catch pokemon, and prioritises catching over poke stops, so misses spinning poke stops which is frustrating. My "faulty" device would only connect if it was connected to the charger... I should say would occasionally connect if connected to the charger. Then would drop out in less than 5mins.Too many connection issues. I am really hoping a different brand of device will work better. I won't be buying a replacement go-tcha.

Leider nichts
