I'm weaning myself away from Legos, I admire them but price keeps rising. I decided to go for more of a challenge with wood puzzles.The first company I tried was regretfullya hugh mistake. Thin wood very prone to breaking, glue definitely a staple, poor cheap instructions, sloppy fit. I won't state what company it was but if you go with UGears you won't care.This Cobra was a challenge but in a satisfying way. There were a couple challenges to master, one being the spring to affix to the very tiny slot the the center post.All parts were laser perfect, part no.s we're next to the parts, not on them, wood was quite thick, grain was clear & uniform. Mating. of parts was perfect no forced alignment necessary.Now that this is completed, the UGears Grand Prix D-9 awaits.My tips: these are not to be meant as speed builds. Take your time and enjoy the journey. Follow the instructions meticulously, take frequent breaks and sand, polish and wax!

I was looking for a small project to do in my RV while camping. I was thinking model but fount this, it was challenging but not too challenging. I had my 7 year old grandson punch out the pieces and I would put them in place.

Purchased as a gift for my 14yr old son that likes to build things. This type of model was a new experience for him. It did challenge him a bit, the instructions were good but did require us to find a YouTube video or two along the way for areas like building the winder and gearing around that. I was really impressed how sturdy the car was and in how well this kit was coming together for him. Unfortunately, my son was about 2/3's the way though when our puppy found it and decided it would be a fun chew toy so we will never know how nice the end product would have been.If you or your kids are into into building things and have a level of patience this is a nice kit and a refreshing change from legos :) (though not as easy).

My dad loved this product. He was 74 years old when he put together. Said some parts were challenging but overall he loved the experience and loves the end product. Displays it when he takes his Actual Cobra to car shows.

I really enjoyed building this model!The pieces were easy to remove from the sheets.The directions were precise and easy to follow. Where detailed instructions were required for assembly they were provided.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to have fun playing with it after your finished building it. It performs as promised.

Ordered as part of my husband’s birthday gift. When it arrived, it was open and already assembled.

This was a blast to make. I painted all the the parts as I went as along. It took much longer to complete that way but the end product was perfect. I like that it moves on a clock spring and not rubber bands. The instructions are very easy to read. I would say that this would make a great gift or something for yourself.

Klasse Puzzle, macht süchtig ......aber definitiv nichts für Anfänger oder Kinder, kann mir kaum vorstellen dass ein 14j. Das schafft.....

Pas facile à assembler, il faut être rigoureux, mais le résultat est magnifique. Elle fonctionne assez bien. Les engrenages doivent être parfaitement lubrifiés.

Soy un gran aficionado de las maquetas y desde que descubrí las creadas por UGEARS es la quinta que compro.Es un producto hecho de madera de gran calidad y excelente acabado, con unos bonitos detalles y una movilidad perfecta. Para montarlas solo hace falta tiempo y tus manos, todo lo demás lo ponen ellos porque no es necesario ningún tipo de pegamento ni herramienta, las piezas encajan entre ellas con una precisión milimétrica, incluso incorporan un duplicado con las que podrían ser un poco delicadas.

Incredibilmente perfetto. Un vero gioiello della meccanica. Bello da assemblare e bello da conservare. Alla fine sei veramente soddisfatto.

As always, top quality from UGears.I have built up 7 wooden models so far, 5 of which are UGears, and they are by the best. The instructions are very clear, the parts are clearly marked and easy to remove from the boards. The end result is brilliant.I see reviews with complaints of poor quality and parts breaking. This is utter rubbish, 7 models in and I am yet to break anything!!Take your time, gently remove pieces from the boards, slightly sand each piece down and apply wax where needed, and assemble with care. These are not designed to be speed built, they are a labour of love.I'm looking forward to buying my next UGears model.
