The ONLY thing about this resin that isn't hateful, is that you don't have to mix equal parts. Which is the reason you buy UV resin, right? I read the instructions & got a kick out of the badly written, lack of actual instructions, but hoped that wasn't a reflection of how the resin would work. Ha! That was the least of its problems! I opened the box & it smelled..... no, it REEKED of old cat lady, heavy, toxic perfume. Which is bad enough, but I'm allergic to perfumes & scents, so its that much worse for me! I thought some old cat lady boxed it & poured half her perfume bottle she found in the trashcan in 1974 into the box. I immediately had an allergic reaction, getting a massive headache & feeling sick to my stomach. I put my respirator on & proceeded to pour the UV resin onto my 17 prepped jewelry pieces. I did a few at a time, & noticed it wasnt all that clear, & seemed a bit lumpy. I continued working when my husband came in & commented on how badly it smelled. At that point, I still thought it was the nasty perfume in the package. It didnt matter how I applied the resin, it ALL cured lumpy & most of the 'cured' pieces were tacky. I tried all kinds of things to make it work, & nothing did. All but 1 piece was ruined! The one that wasn't ruined, still needed another coat & some touch ups. BTW It was the smallest of my pieces, not even as big as a dime. Some of the pieces were cloudy. Some areas on a few pieces peeled right off. It all scratches so easily that no one could possibly wear any of it as actual jewelry pieces. Later that evening I surveyd the disaster & noticed the perfumy stench. I thoroughly cleaned all the pieces off & re-cleaned my workspace, & it didnt go away. I litterally smelled the pieces themselves & it was the resin that had that horrific, toxic, perfume smell. Even in the cured resin it was there. I spent the next 2 days scraping & sanding & reapplying other resins (including a non-UV resin, & a gel nail polish.) FINALLY, I can't smell it anymore. I was able to salvage 15 of the pieces, but 2 are beyond repair! Non-toxic & crystal clear? NO WAY!!!

50-50 chance on hardening and only in the sun, not under light. Bought one bottle which never hardened so I returned it and got another one hoping I had maybe just gotten a bad batch. Whenever I try and use Mika it does not set at all. If I use color drops it hardens half the time. If I leave it clear it works. So if you add all that up it’s a 50-50 chance. Bad odds.

I don’t have much experience with uv resin but no matter how long I leave it under the lamp it’s always tacky.

I like how it cured even without a uv light u can use the sun the indoor lamp whatever it works. Crystal clear luv it! But the smell is so strong made my eyes burn from the fumes.

I’ve seen multiple reviews saying it doesn’t harden and/or isn’t clear however I have had ZERO problems! I’m a beginner to resin so was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use this product and LOVE LOVE LOVE the price!!!

So far this is the best UV resin I have worked with, cannot create quality items without it!!
