Amazing product, i like its accuracy and its more functions than any other products its beautiful display and affordable prices.

All accessories are okay, Meter properly working on all parameter and good accuracy, i am satisfied for this meter. *My personal opinion... it would be better if the meter was smaller and the price was a little lower.

It has been my go to meter for the past few months. I do a lot of electrical installations and here's my review 1. Quality - Top notch built quality. 2. Size - The size is comparatively comfortable and not too bulky 3. Accuracy - I have a Fluke meter and I should say that the accuracy of the Kaiweets is at par with the well established Fluke. 4. Design - Very well thought. The dial can be easily rotated with one thumb - it's a one hand use. I thank the Kaiweets team for incorporating a probe holder - this feature saved me from a lot of trouble in awkward places where I can't keep the meter at eye level and make measurements. This feature allowed me to place one probe on the holder, one probe on one hand and measure. Really good feature 5. Overall, I love this tool for its functionality, it's ergonomics and accuracy

Superb quality

Very bad, firstly got defected piece then replaced with little scratched material but working. Now it is now showing proper readings, malfunction every time. Kaiweet customer care will not support or help you if you had purchased from amazon. Amazon are very sluggish to respond. Overall don’t purchase from amazon. I am using since jan 2024. Very honest review.

I like the Clamp Meter. I haven't used all the featues but so far I am satisfied. I use it for DIY and home purposes.

I liked the screen and functions, price is higher side but the funcions are very good, for holding in hand assured good grip and handy. No battery 🔋 in the product package and I did not like without battery had to purchase seperately after paying high. Wire was very smooth and lengthy and I loved it. Thermocouple wire was provided and is considerably good. Inrush was with AC current and even if selected DC the inrush was showing AC current measurement. Manufacturer claims AC and DC inrush but I only got AC inrush when put on car DC battery wire while starting car. Measurement wih diode value shown is bit higher. No certificate of calculation is included. So 3 stars. Build quality is quite good with pleasent colour. Porduct comes wih 3 year warranty and I am very happy for the warranty. NCV function is good and not very sensitive. Ghost readings will appear and that needs to be addressed by manufacturer when testing AC measurement. Condenser value and resistance measurement is quite good and I liked the funcions with continuity beep and the sound is good but the light is bit late to show up and does not keep up with sound and I did not like the late showing up of light when continuity mode is selected. Overall rest of the functions are good. First time Kaiweets product bought in Amazon.

Good product value of money

I was looking for a honest and reliable clamp meter. After watching many detailed reviews I have decided to buy this one. Very good quality, measurements are within spec range, not exactly a fan of AAA batteries but they seem to last a while. Screen looks very nice, unfortunately can be hard to read outdoors in sunny conditions. I'm very satisfied with my new toy 🙂

This Kaiweets HT208D clamp meter is extremely SOLID. And extremely good value. The dial works well. The display is fantastic. The meter has very good features for AC and DC and it wasn't too bad to learn how to use it for a non-electrician. While the In Rush function is supposed to be for AC current only, I've seen YouTube reviewers say it also works for DC current, though this is not in the user manual. A Tip: To best use the InRush function, also buy an AC Line Splitter to use for measuring appliance/motor InRush current, as otherwise, you would need to split the cable to be measured, as the clamp is supposed to ONLY go around 1 wire, the hot wire and not 2 or 3 wires as in Hot, Neutral and Ground together. Kaiweets does not seem to sell an AC line splitter, which IMO they should. Klein has a nice small one but it has no price on the Amazon.ca site. The dual position line splitters can be unwieldy to use in some outlets, as it falls out due to being long and then having the appliance plugged in to the far end, while the Klein line splitter is smaller, grounded and is less prone to fall out of the outlet. Using a line splitter means you still only measure the hot wire and so you do not have to cut into and damage your cable to get at the single hot line/wire. Measuring AC and DC current with the clamp is a breeze and voltages with the beefy but soft and pliable and very good silicone wire and probes makes it a great multi use meter and especially so for solar and off grid use. The clamp easily fits around 4/0 cable and accurately measured DC Current, as well as AC Current. Measuring appliance or motor AC InRush is a HUGE help as not all off grid inverters, especially low cost High Frequency inverters that don't use big heavy transformers, can handle high inrush currents and the inverter sellers and some manufacturers don't tell you this and over hype their inferior products. This meter will tell you what the appliance / motor inrush current is so you can ask the inverter manufacturer if the info is not in the specs. The 2 cons for some may be that the display is apparently difficult to read in bright light outdoors and the flashlight is blocked by the clamps so isn't all that useful. Oh and it has a useful NCV function via the clamp sensor that works well though and reports on the display, by sound and by a Red or Green LED. As well, there are 2 pots inside that can be used to calibrate voltage readings to fine to meter. It also displays an ambient temperature reading in the display in some modes, as well as coming with 2 temperature probes. As well, it has a very good warranty. While I had a decent Klein multimeter already, I waited a long time for this Kaiweets to go on a the best sale price I'd seen and then decided to get it for the AC InRush function and the DC Clamp function for my off grid solar needs. Not sure how much I'll use the Klein now, although Klein I have, is not a clamp meter and has fewer functions but is much smaller than the Kaiweets HT208D. The Kaiweet HT208D goes on sale occasionally and when it does, don't sit on the fence, as that makes it an even better value. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
