Needed to update my existing Native Union desk cable to a USB-C to USB-C. It works, which is all I want.

I’ve used this as both a wire from my keyboard to my pc and as a charging cable from a wall plug, in both instances it has worked great.Using my Anker 140w portable battery I can see its pulling 100w through the cable (even if its plugged into a 140w charger at the wall.The weight really holds the cable in place and can be adjusted up and down the length of the cable as you choose. This is a great feature, no need for one of those cable management clips as the cable doesn’t fall down the back of the deskOne thing that I did find annoying is the light on one side of the cable, when im charging my ipad or laptop late at night, you can solve the problem easily by simply plugging in the cable the other way around but thought id mentionRegarding the cables durability at the time of this review I've been using the cable for 8 months and there's no real signs of fraying at the cable ends and it's working well. I will report back later if things change

I love these charges as they decrease breakage in the wire. Last longer than the regular apple cords.

The end of the cable with the weighted ball stopped working about two months after I bought it. I had to hold the cable at an angle to charge my laptop. NOT HAPPY

Native Union macht einfach die besten Kabel. Dieses hält sich auch noch selbstständig auf dem Tisch. Ich kaufe sicher noch ein paar mehr davon.

Purchased in June 2023. I have owned Native Union weighted USB-Lightning cables before and they served me well. So when I needed a new USB-C cable for my iPad, I went with this one. as my previous cables were of good quality. I charge my iPad every night at my nightstand, so it gets plugged-unplugged at least 2x a day.All was working fine until December 2023 when it stopped charging. Rotating the plug 180 degrees seemed to get it going, until it just stopped working altogether. Upon close inspection, all seems ok and no visible damage is on the connectors or cable. While I was playing around with it, I purchased another brand of USB-C cable and it works just fine (so its not the USB charger or iPad connector). I guess its just a junk cable at this point.Its sad what crap $40 will get you today. One thing is for certain, I'm done with this brand....
