Worked as Expected
Took my straight connector and turned it into a 90 degree to save space. Worked exactly as I had hoped for.

Loose connection, not exactly 2.1mm
It's closer to 2.2mm than 2.1mm which causes the connection to be loose. This was measured with a caliper that read 2.1mm on the original plug and 2 other 2.1mm plugs so I can confirm it's an issue with both included adapters.

90degree adapters
I needed more clearance beside the power plug. These 90 degree adapters gave me the little extra room I needed for the space I had to work with.
