Size is perfect for honda pilot, as well as price is great. The only issue is that the rubber smell is too strong I am keeping it outdoor for few days till the smell is gone

This product is a used product, dirty and very bad smell.I through it didn't even think of return it.

This is an update. I received this mat with great anticipation. However, it has a strong rubber smell especially if you park your car outdoor in summer. The smell usually means there is some VOC chemical trying to off gas. Like many have said, it usually takes a few days / weeks to dissipate the smell.Therefore, I placed it to air out under the sun. Within one week, it has discoloured with patches of uneven colours. I am not sure if the surface has deteriorated or what. Anyway, I trust this mat in the trunk with grocery bags on it any more. So I have to throw away / recycle it since I have trimmed it and threw the box away. I cannot return it.

I got it at Sep 2019 and now it is May 2020. My car is Honda civic hatchback and the mat is large enough for the cargo space. You need to trim to fit and it is easy to do with a household scissors. The material of the mat is rubberish, soft and flexible. I don't have the chemical smell as other review stated, and it is true that the texture of the mat does hold items in place. I have cleaned it recently with water and no discoloration. My third picture took at May 2020. It is a great value choice compare to OEM cargo tray.

J'avais cru apercevoir sur certaines photos parmis les commentaires que le tapis semblait sale voir taché mais je ne me suis pas posé plus de questions et je l'ai commandé. Je reçois le dis colis toute contente, je déroule le tapis et arkk. Ils est sale mais pas juste un peu. Crotté de je sais pas quoi mais c'est pas juste de la petite poussière metton. Non mais honnêtement, qu'elle compagnie qui se respecte et respecte ces clients se permet de vendre des choses aussi dégueulasse. Depuis quand devons nous prendre 1h de notre journée à frotter notre nouvelle achat tout neuf ? RIDICULE !!! J'avais pas envie de gosser à le retourner et attendre donc je me dis ça fait snoutte mais je vais l'installer quand même et le laverai plus tard. Le seul point positif, le tapis se coupe facilement avec des petits ciseaux standard qu'on à tous à la maison. Le fite n'est vraiment pas parfait avec ma voiture, soit c'était trop grand ou une fois coupé en prenant bien soin de suivre les lignes, trop petit... Ça l'aurait pris un entre deux disons. Brefff oui ça fait ça job de tapis mais c'est de base en maudit pis ça protège pas partout selon votre modèle de véhicule (j'ai un Subaru Impreza). Jamais je ne recommanderai à personne cette scrappe là. Je vous conseille d'investir, payer un peu plus cher ça vaut la peine parfois !!!

Seems fairly durable and was easy enough to cut to size. I've loaded snd unloaded my kids stroller several times and so far there are no scrape marks or anything on the mat itself.My only negative so far about this is the smell. I left it outside to air out for a week and it still smelled terrible. It even made the stroller smell since it was in my vehicle overnight. I ended up taking the mat to the car wash to hose it off and that seemed to help. Unfortunately it is winter in Canada and leaving the vehicle windows open isn't an option to air it out further so I'll just have to hope it fades quickly.

Cut it to fit my 2012 Honda Civic and was plenty big enough as I trimmed to fit properly. The product is rubbery and can bend to fit curves which makes it good coverage with a professional look. I just measured the trunk and marked with a piece of chalk the outline and cut to the closest cut lines. I allowed a couple of inches to protrude up the fold down seat to give protection at the hinge. Very happy with results and can be removed very easily and if I need to get to spare tire area, all I have to do is roll it back a little. Of course it has a rubber smell just like when you walk into a tire shop but You should expect that as it is rubber and will wear off after a while. I will let it air out a week before I put back into the trunk. If you want it to look shiny without splotches all you have to do is use a product like Mothers Tire Shine to make it look great. I would recommend this item as a lot cheaper than custom fit hard plastic one and you can make it fit with better coverage if you measure properly.
