I love this book. It’s a board book, so baby proof! It’s red, white and black so babies can see the pictures. The story is so moving for parents who have been waiting for their babies and sweet enough that children will understand how loved and wished for they are by their adults.I originally bought this book for myself but I have bought it two more times for parents who struggled with infertility and they also loved it. This is the first book of three and I have (and recommend) all three books!

My husband and I have been trying for 3 years now. We don't really have the funds to do a private adoption, and I want a biological child with all my heart. I have loved the author's comics for years now, and when she introduced this book, I got it to support her and add to my book collection. When I read it, I cried. I'm not pregnant, in fact our only choice may be IVF, but I feel like I already know my child. Your book really touched me. One day I'll get to be a mother, and I'm so glad I'll have this book for them when they're finally here.

The pictures are big and bold, and its so beautifully written yet uses simple enough language for a small child to understand.The message is clear- you are special, you are here for a reason, and we love you exactly the way you are.
