this is 16 in x. 16 in. x 16 in. right?

No, my dear friend, 16x16x16 means that it has 16 LEDs in the three directions of XYZ, it contains 16x16x16=4096 LEDs, and users need to solder the LEDs by themselves. After soldering, its size is about 8.6x8.6x8.6 inches, thank you!

Does this support audio input as I would like the animations to work with audio - ie connect this cube or laptop to a mixer?

Dear friend, it does not support audio input. Thank you!
