Good battery, so far. No issues, and holds charge for the expected amount of time.

So the prying tools are pretty much mush. The disintegrate immediately. The battery does work. It would be nice to have directions also.

I have replaced my battery on my ipod 5th gen in the past. The store I used to purchase replacement batteries from doesn't carry this specific battery any more so I ordered from here instead. The plastic tools from this kit disintegrated while using them to remove the ipod back. After picture of tools included. Battery so far isn't taking a charge after about 4 hours charging. I reopened my ipod to verify the connection and everything is hooked up right. Trying to charge it again but I'm having my doubts. Back of ipod is also getting very hot during charging which is also concerning. I will probably try to contact the seller if there is any if it doesn't take a charge. Very disappointed in this product so far. I will update this review if anything changes to the positive.

Work like a charm my iPod actually stays charge now!

The tools that come with it are entirely unrelated/unhelpful to replace an iPod gen 6 battery. The battery does work however.
