D&D Icons of the Realms: Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft (Set 21) 8 Ct. Booster Brick

Definitely worth the purchase price! I didn’t get any doubles! Couldn’t believe it! I’m going to order another brick. I’ll be using some of these for running my Curse of Strahd campaign.

I purchased the 8 count brick and it arrived in a mailer directly from Wizkids and the brick inside was shrink wrapped so I knew it wasn’t tampered with.Overall, I’m happy with the purchase but I’d like to share a few things.Good:* Improved paint jobs and more detailed character models* The huge figures are big and heavy* Only two duplicates* Three boxes didn’t have a large or huge figure but instead had 6-7 mini figs. I guess that makes up for it.* Considering the price and time it takes to print and pint your own minis, I found the price to be very reasonable ($121 at time of purchase).Bad:* Four of the boxes were missing the protective plastic that keeps the figures from moving around the the large or huge figure from breaking the smaller ones. This resulted in a broken Bodytaker Plant (see photo). Easy fix but I didn’t need another project.* One of the large figures (Headless Monster) is on a “large” base but is the same size as a skeleton (see photo)* Several weapons were bent and will require reshaping.Again, overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Now then, where did I leave my glue?

I bought the 8 box brick. 6 of them were exactly the same. I contacted Wizkids and they sent out a replacement. Very pleased with the quick resolution.

Great value for the money, for $100 and 8 boxes is an amazing deal! Only received 1 duplicate out of all the boxes, received many of the ones I was looking forward to including Dullahan and Nightmare, Zombie Clot, Bodytaker Plant and to top it all off none of them were broken even if they were missing the plastic holder piece inside.

I received the brick fast and had fun opening each box. No doubles of the large ones and only a couple duplicates of the small and medium minis. This will help a lot for the game. Would and probably will buy again.

Quite a few minis and well painted for the price. They have a good weight to them. Much like what other people had mentioned though, quite a few minis had bent weapons and my Body Taker Plant came broken.I attached a picture showing the broken mini and that I also received a displacer beast which is cool and will be used but isn't in the books. I also had 3 duplicates which can happen.All in all I would say my experience was decent but a new packaging method might be needed for the Body Taker Plant. Missed getting a couple minis I really wanted from the book but ended up with a cool bonus one.

Got this as a gift for someone. They really liked it.
