I love the reminder throughout that, even life with all of its ups and downs, life is what we make of it. This book is such a great read. It has a captivating plot, is light hearted, and is a great summer read!

I absolutely loved reading The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie!!!! All about Lolly Blanchard & Rory Shaw. It’s a story about her life and her life choices. It revolves around her family, she has a mom, dad & baby sister Daphne. They are Swedish and run a diner selling Swedish delicacy’s in Magnolia a suburb of Seattle, Washington. Rory is her neighbor and she has a huge crush on him, since she was thirteen & he was fourteen. The entire story revolves around the lemon meringue pie that has been passed down through generations from mother to daughter. It’s told to the child but nothing is ever written down, it’s from memory. Read about Lolly & Rory and see if they can ever find a way to make a life together. Lots of emotion, that will make you laugh and cry. I absolutely loved reading this book and all its many characters. The author did an amazing job, keeping your attention from page one until the very last page. Definite Read!!!!!

Very sweet story but a little slow in pace for my liking. I truly appreciated the growth and development in the main character. Happy ending too which is so nice in this day and age.

I really like this book. For me the only downside was too much Rory. Lolly seems consumed by him. There should be room for a new love.

Even in the tough times, you just know that Lolly is going to find her bliss. Well-written and enjoyable to read.

This book was so perfectly sweet!! Lolly and Rory have such a beautiful story, I loved watching the character growth over the chapters. The twists with the lemon drops?? Perfection.
