The board isn't affixed to the frame on one side so causes the board to pop up a bit at the centre.

Looked like an seemed to be a good durable chess board, kinda wish pieces were a lil bigger.

The design is overall very cheap but that this price point it is to be expected.It is a chess set and useful for someone just beginning, especially when that person takes the game to school. I would not be upset if the kids ended up losing pieces.Pieces fit inside the board which acts as a carrying case, so useful for travelling.

Not every piece has a flat bottom. Some have a bump in the middle, which need to be sanded down.

I heard other bad reviews for this chessboard and the price was pretty bad for something like this.So, I bought the item. The first thing I saw was 2 de-shaped pawns, which was very surprising since no one ever wrote a review for de- shaped pawns.I set it up and played it with my friends, and then I noticed a broken connection piece between the chessboard.That caused the middle of the board to go up a bit, I was very much concerned about this item.But, it is a pretty diverting item for beginners, like me.Overall, I suggest you do not buy this item, but if you want to, it is a bit nice for beginners to use.
