I bought a few pairs of these several years ago and decided to increase my collection. I got tired of the non-breathable nylon garments. These are very, very delicate, however. I wash them by hand or in laundry bags. I never put them in the dryer (they're so delicate, they dry in no time on the towel rack). I bought them originally because they are virtually invisible underneath clothing. Also, they take up virtually NO space when packing. They are as thin as tissue paper--I'm not exaggerating.UPDATE: I said these fit as expected because I already had several pairs and knew what to expect. I would normally order a large in other brands, but the Gossamer mediums are a great fit for me.

On Gossamer mesh panties are the perfect material for travel and for everyday. They wash easily by hand, are very lightweight and dry fast. The elastic trim and waist band is as flat as possible and there is barely any panty line for a non-thong. Plus they are available in a range of basic and seasonal colours.Sizing tends to run large as the material is so stretchy (but never slouchy) and this Hi-Cut style is exactly as the name describes; it is very high cut. Regular torso ladies will find that the waistband falls at the belly button or just slightly below. Ladies with longer torsos will find that this sits an inch below the belly button. Petite ladies should order 1 size down.These panties are quite delicate and care needs to be taken when donning and doffing to avoid poking a fingernail through the mesh fabric. Handwashing is best [why not, since it is so easy?] and dryers = immensely decreased lifespan if not instant death.

I purchased the Hi-cut brief in large and medium. I kept both while the large fits like a second skin. The medium fits, but I know I have it on. The reason I kept it is I’m hoping to lose weight (I know, TMI). I also purchased the mesh boy short in large and it was too small and made my butt look flat. I also got the mesh low rise bikini in medium and large and neither of those fit. All went back with the exception of the Hi-cut briefs and I’ve purchased more of both the mediums and larges. Also, I hand washed a pair and it was totally dry overnight. They are delicate, but, I like them so much I’m going to start replacing all of my panties with these.

I was shocked at this thin pair of panties….especially for the price. I was going to return them but they became mislaid in my travel shopping orders and I didn’t find them until after return deadline. I suppose they’ll be fine under thin dark dress or pants but still almost $16 is a little rich for my liking especially since they weren’t even pretty. Haven’t tried on and worn so can’t say about comfort.

I have been wearing the Jockey "no panty line promise" panties for years. Everyday I would put them on only to reveal a broken promise. So I decided to look for something else. These are fantastic! They don't ride up. There are no panty lines at all. These are also good for travel as they dry very quickly when washed in the sink. I would say that the fabric stretches slightly throughout the day but the elastic does not so they stay in place. I normally wear a size 6 pants and ordered the small. For reference, I am 5'7" and weigh 126 pounds but I'm pear shaped so I carry most of my weight on my lower half.
