Powerty Retractable Trunk Cover for 2020-2022 Tesla Model Y, Black, SUV Cargo Shielding Shade

I love my Model Y but there are some infuriating design shortcomings (don't get me started on CarPlay support). One of them is the lack of a cargo cover. I had one in my Toyota Highlander and in my Prius: the plastic sides had notches to hold it and to attach the end when extended.This gadget brings the same functionality, except that it has to provide the missing attachment points: that's what the four plastic pieces are for. They hold with double-sided tape, and come with special priming wipes to prepare the surface to adhere to. Removing the red plastic tape protection was infuriatingly frustrating, but inserting a pointy blade just under it proved to be the right way to do it and the rest was easy. After that, stick the four holders in place, and you're done!I waited 24 hours before attaching the cover, and it's been working absolutely fine. It's sturdy, easy to roll up and pull out.Recommended, great product.

Had minor problem with one of the piece sticking. After removing and re-apply, the piece is now sticking well. Very good product for the pricing.Works well for Tesla Model Y - 2022

Great product it didn't came with instructions but super easy to instal and it looks oem.

It wasn't fully fit to Model Y 2021 and it was broken after 3-month of using. There is no warranty information in Amazon website nor its own website.

The fit seems great and matches the stock finish very well. The cover itself seems sturdy, but the double sided tape that holds the 4 pieces on is absolutely useless. Once I replace it with some better quality tape, it should be fine.

Initially I was unsure if it would look good and install nicely. Tried fitting before removing tape covering to ensure I felt comfortable with how it would come together. It has been a month since I installed and I am very pleased with the install and product. As others have said, it was difficult to get off red tape covering, but it installed easily and tape sticks well. While I did test the shade to ensure fit, I decided to be cautious and let the adhesive tape set overnight before I kept pulled and now keep it closed all the time. Operates smoothly, no noise, covers the back areas well, and looks like OEM!

The media could not be loaded.  Adhesive covers were difficult to remove, didn’t firmly adhere in some places. The worst part, though, is that it doesn’t fit in the rear brackets closest to the lift gate. The tab that should fit IN the bracket just rests on the bracket, but isn’t locked in. I haven’t driven with it yet, but I imagine it’ll probably dislodge with even a minimal bump.

Very easy to install once you get the red adhesive tape off. Sturdy and best value for money. Don’t hesitate and get this one. Great bang for the buck!
