It’s a kettle, it boils water, job done.This is quite a basic kettle compared with others available and others we have owned.Just address the reasons you are buying a kettle, if your needs are the same as ours ie to boil water mainly for tea or coffee then buy this one. It is very stylish, is reasonably quiet (the quietest kettles I’ve experienced just get noisier after a period of time and use, only to be expected if you are going to apply heat, it will expand and contract every time so forever changing). A big bonus with this one is the cool outside wall.The whole of the interior is seamless (to the naked eye) stainless steel, therefore no plastic to interfere with water flavour. Okay so there’s no plastic filter on the spout, but consequently no fiddly filter to have to remove and descale. We live in a hard water area, but we drink the water unfiltered and use it for all our other day to day needs so really don’t see the need for one on the kettle.There being no glass/plastic panels/windows (just clear and obvious level markings inside) means it should never develop the leaks we have suffered with previous models.The lid is all but fully opening making filling and sighting the level markings easy, and the dimpled inner surface is an ingenious way to capture the condensation and return it back into the unit without hinder.Can I give a negative? Well if I have to, and it really is just a minor niggle, it is less powerful than the last few kettles we have owned so therefore takes marginally longer to boil when full. Don’t let that put you off, just buy it if you need to boil water, it’s great and I thoroughly recommend it.

Got this as an inexpensive replacement for our existing kettle.The design is minimalist, sleek and elegant with the on off switch easily accessible at the top of the handle, and a row of blue lights up the handle to show when it's on.The lid flips open when the central button on top is lightly pressed and is easy to fill. There is no outside indicator for the fill level but it has min and max fill levels embossed on the inside.The kettle itself is dual wall stainless construction around 3mm thick. It helps keep the noise down when it's boiling, and keeps the outside of the kettle cool to the touch. The inside is completely clear from any elements which should make it to easy to clean or descale. Most importantly, it pours well without any drips. A most excellent kettle.

Was unsure whether to give it four or five stars. Like the kettle. Like the speed of heating. Like the illuminated doodah. Like the cool wall. And here is my problem. When you check to see the kettle had heated or indeed is still warm you press the palm of your hand on the side of the kettle. It’s always cool to the touch. Brilliant if you have kids who might touch the sides of the kettle. A little annoying when all you wanna do is check if it’s warm or hot or boiling. But a nice kettle none the less.

As an engineer, I am very impressed with this kettle. The outer jacket does not even get warm whilst the insides are boiling.The lid does not allow steam to escape at any time. The lid action is clean and crisp allowing a full 90 deg opening to fill up. In opening the lid, the internal moulded design runs condensation back into the kettle, rather than dribbling down the handle area.It pours cleanly and accurately without dribbling or backflow.The internal cylinder is seamless and easy to clean, and despite using water from a britter filter, it does not scale quickly.I am not one for raving about reviews, but for this product, i am happily supprised and it has been a very good purchase.

Received earlier today and it has greatly impressed me. Lost track of how many we have had over the years by the criteria for me was does it pour well? is it quiet? and finally is it an attractive looking kettle?Passed all of these with flying colours, there are other attributes such ease of cleaning the all stainless steel inside and the value for money. I was well aware there is no plastic windows to show the level of water but filled via the wide opening lid it is easy to see the level and hopefully will encourage others to not always fill to the maximum every time. Hope I haven't pushed my luck with this very early review.

I really like this kettle, it works perfect every time i make cup of tea.

I purchased two of these kettles in May 2022 and August 2022, both have developed a problem- they stop switching off after the water has boiled.I am very discounted because the kettle looks good, and is cool to touch, but not switching off is a pretty terrible fault.And it has established on both my home and office kettle.

It was a great kettle while it lasted. Cover stopped functioning properly and then won’t open.
