I've been using this scar tape for two months now for a fairly new 2"x1" scar on my shin that was very dark and bumpy. I followed the instructions and started out with a few hours of wearing then worked my way up to nearly full-time. With daily use, usually around 20 hours per day, my scar has smoothed out and the dark color is fading into more of a deep tan color. I will be trying it on some older scars next. I like how easy this tape is to use. It cuts to whatever length you want easily and stays put even during workouts or when I forget to remove it and bathe with it on. It peels off cleanly and without pulling hair or skin off with it. If it gets folded up on itself it's pretty much impossible to peel back apart so if the fold is bad enough it's best to just replace it with a new piece. Luckily there's plenty of tape on the roll so I have enough to last me a long time!

I had a total thyroidectomy 8 weeks ago. At two weeks post op I started using this scar tape during the day, then I removed it before my evening shower. I rinsed it, let it dry, and then stuck it back into the backing. I washed my scar, then put bio oil on it and massaged the area with a jade roller. In the morning, I clean it again and then put the scar tape back on. I’m able to reuse the same pieces for about a week before the corners start lifting and not sticking so well. Keep in mind that your results may vary based on the location you’re using the scar tape. I have a history of scarring pretty badly and developing keloids. I believe this product is helping heal my scar (and as a bonus, keeping it covered from the sun). This roll will last me quite a while. I’ve barely used any of it and I’ve been using it 6 weeks. I see other reviews mention that theirs came is small strips, but mine came in one continuous roll that I’ve been able to cut to the desired size. I’ve had no problem with it not sticking-if anything, it stuck a little too well when my scar was new and it slightly concerned me.

I am post op 8 weeks breast reduction, I started using this silicone scar tape around 2 weeks post op on new scar. In one Week I of used I noticed that my scars was fading. This silicone tape is easy to apply and stay for long time in the scar. I was able to shower and run the tape didn’t came off. The only thing I felt was little itch after I put it on but I guess my skin is little sensitive. But after awhile it if using it the itch stop. This product is offer great quality, quantities for a great value price. I already had bought two boxes. I will continue to buy this product and I will recommend it. Please note it is important to read the instructions and do not use on open wound. Overall, I am happy with this silicone tape!

The product I really didn't get a chance to see if it worked but the adhesive is great stays on well in a shower I kept it on for almost 2 weeks but I had started having pain tenderness and redness for almost 2 weeks and I thought maybe it was just from the incision itself. But I took it all for a couple of nights to see if I might be having an allergic reaction and I did so far as the adhesive and sticking well easy to use it is but watch out you might have an allergic reaction I have redness tenderness and pain.

I broke my wrist in February this year. And had two surgeries for a plate and a screw in my hand. This is the palm of my hand. It was scarred a bright thick red. My therapist gave me the idea to order this on Amazon. And with a hesitation because so many things do not work. I ordered it anyway but I hoped that it would definitely work. It was not expensive, and I had never heard of this kind of thing. I got it very quickly another plus. And what I loved about it when I opened the package was that it was so convenient with a roll of tape that was perforated you could tear off a certain size but if it was wrong you could cut it and use a customized size. Then it held on even with a little bits of water and I could reuse it when I took it off to work my hand out in therapy and put it back on as I left. I kid you not in less than a week I pulled off the bandage permanently and was thrilled to see the bright red scarring was gone with a little pinkish color left. It totally surprised me and I was really for real satisfied. I have plenty left for other types of scars for me and my family and I will use it on my sutures, down my wrist and on the side of my wrist. When my skin was too sensitive to use the silicone gel from my doc office, my surgeon recommended a scar sheet alternative. I bought a roll of Silicone Scar Sheets after reading reviews, and have been pleasantly surprised at how it's working. I use the scar gel from my doc in the morning, then apply these sheet strips in the evening for 3-4 hours. I cut the shape to match my scar. This combo has really helped to flatten and minimize my surgical lines. I also love that you can reuse the sheets a few times before disposing them (they stay moist and sticky for a long time). I only use a maximum of 3 times before tossing, because I am prone to infections and am taking extra procaution. Even still, I feel like this 1 box is lasting me so much longer than expected, and I am very happy with my purchase! Would recommend to anyone with surgical or injury scars, even those with sensitive skin like me.

I have been trying different brands of silicone tape for my post-thyroid surgery scar on my neck. After trying two other brands, I was hoping that this one would be reusable after washing with soap and water. After washing, the tape curled up on itself and was hard to straighten up. It also lost some of the adhesion and I found that I can reuse it only after one round of washing. After the second round of washing, the tape curled up even more and had even less adhesion.

I was honestly sceptical at first, but I really think this silicone scar tape works. I’m not even super consistent with it, yet when I do use it I can see the scar protruding less. After three C-sections, I wasn’t sure anything would make a difference, but this, combined with gentle scar massage, has definitely reduced the swelling. I waited until 2 months postpartum before starting because I wanted to be fully healed, and that was the right call. One thing to note: it will pull any hair, so if you leave it on too long taking it off can hurt. I found removing it in the shower made it totally fine. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would recommend!

I’ve been using this for a surgical scar and it’s super gentle, even on sensitive skin. It feels soft and breathable, and doesn’t leave any irritation. The adhesion is decent, but I found it starts lifting after a few hours, especially if there’s any movement or sweating. I just press it back down, but it doesn’t always stay flat. I like that it’s reusable and easy to cut into the right size. Still, it might not be the best option if you need something that stays on all day without touching it.

This silicon tape really seems to be working on my scars. I have been putting the tape on over night on scars from a skin graft and there has been a noticeable reduction in the size of the scars and also the color seems to be blending in with the rest of the skin. You get enough tape for quite a large number of uses and you can also re-use the tape a number of times as it doesn't lose it adhesive quality, you just wash it be for each re-use. Would recommend.
