This Dutch oven is quite heavy, but is just as it should be. Works great with easy clean up. Very pleased

Great aside from smell
I got two of these bought for me when I started making bread. When I open the oven, they smell like burnt tires. I have no clue who to contact regarding this since I'm not the purchaser so I'm probably out of luck, which sucks, but wanted to leave a review because that is a big deal in my opinion. When they're hot they turn black and when they cool off they go back to burgundy. It's weird and I think I may even have some faulty ones. Just in case, just be aware so you can pay attention and return them right away if you have the same problem. It never goes away.

Delivered in its own box...ruined the Christmas surprise
Looks amazing. Can't wait to use it but if you're buying it for a present, be warned that Amazon doesn't put it in a box. They put the label on the item and shipped it ruining a surprise gift.
