I could not get any of these to adhere to the wooden steps. The material seems good so I tacked them in place

The media could not be loaded.  Not stick properly on step wood. Ordered 2 sets according to they says 15 in each set during purchase but sent 12 set in one bundle. Not fair so i am returning.

Directions state that the carpet strips easily adhere to the steps. Not so. I had to purchase double sided tape in order to install the carpet strips.

They don't stick to stairs well and that would put my family at risk of slipping off the stairs. Shipped folded so that it does not stick in the middle

These mats are awesome to make the stairs anti slip and look pretty nice. The adhesion is working great on wooden stairs and can be removed easily with slight residue. They are made with good quality material and easy to vacuum. Good for the price.

Avoid if you have fur babies as these will collect their fur and leave it on display for anyone who comes to your home. Expect to be sweeping these often.However, if you're looking for functioning stair treads to not fall down your hardwood stairs, these gripped well. My only gripe is that they were not shipped flat, so it took a bit for some of them to lose the bend of the boxing to be able to lay flat and stop popping up in the middle.I recently had surgery and found the grip on the stairs to be of great use to me! I was able to navigate the stairs (eventually) on two feet, but when I was going up and down on my backside, I still felt safe and knew I would not slide down the stairs.

These are very Nice carpet stair treads and looks great. Infact feels good on feet too. Only thing is they are smaller in size to my stairs else perfect for what am looking for. Agree with other reviewers that the crease in the center is bit bummer but I left some weight on it for couple days and that helped. Reason the adhesive is not thick because you can remove it without any residue left whenever we want which is what I prefer and so they are good enough. Wish they are bit bigger but still looks great.

Our dog is getting up a bit in age, and while we have area rugs down through most of the house, the steps have been an issue with her getting up and getting down. She just doesn't have the strength anymore to go up and down on the wood flooring. We picked these up as we didn't want to "glue" or nail down anything to the steps, and read reviews where they stated that these held without being "sticky". I was skeptical, but it's true!! Simply peel the clear plastic backing off the bottom of the stair runner, and place. It "grips" the stair without leaving behind any residue. They come right up if you need them to. The only issue we have is running the vacuum. They tend to come up with the hose when trying to clean, but I guess that's to be expected. They are little lint/hair magnets though. Other than that, our old puppy is able to get traction to climb up and down easily, and they look nice too.
