Works well with a ratcheting screwdriver
It works fine on my 12 string guitar, although the grip on the peg heads is a little loose. I didn't want to use it with my driver drill, so I used a mini ratcheting screwdriver instead. This gives me better control over the speed of the winder. I can store it in my guitar case and I don't have to worry about recharging the battery.

Slick little tool
Super simple tool that will save you a ton of time and possibly save you from carpal tunnel if your stringing guitars all day. Great size and decent quality. Seems dirty enough and is very easy to use. no stability issues as long as you're going slow like you should. If done correctly you should have great sound quality.

My wi ring problems are a thing of the past. I simply put this in an electric screwdriver and I can change strings super quickly! Perfecto!!!

Make A Restringing Job Much Easier
My wife plays guitar and hates to restring her various guitars because it is so tiring. When she saw this attachment at a local music shop, she said she wanted one. This peg winder cuts down the time it takes to restring her guitars by at least half. The soft rubber lining protects the finish on. some her guitars that have chrome plated nuts. The ability to let the drill do the work is much faster than trying to turn the pegs by hand and saves her the actual discomfort of having to do the job.Although the peg winder comes with a 1/4" hex shank, I would not recommend using this in an impact driver. I suggest you use a drill with a clutch so as not overwind the nut which could break the string and more importantly, damage the nut and winding gears.
