I got this for my son for Christmas and he loves it, he plays with it most days, it's not the best VR experience but it's ideal for the little ones, it's also made quite well and comfortable to wear too so it should last a long time, we got it on a offer so got it at a reasonable price, anyone thinking of getting there little one a vr then this won't disappoint, excellent for the little ones maybe not so great for the more experienced vr players though but my 7 year old loves it so definitely glad we got it him

Used with Zelda botw and Captain toad - fitted 10 year old with no adjustments, no complaints, seemed smooth.

Doesn’t work. Waste of money. You cannot see the full screen, makes your cross eyed. Only used this twice.

Works fine but only works with certain Switch Games, Easy to Use, but do need to go into switch game to change to VR Mode, and not all games have that functionality

As there are not many games on the switch you can use this, it can be a little dissapointing however, I think this is an amazing alternative to spending hundreds of pounds on a branded headset. I got this for Christmas for my son to test of he would actually like a VR set. He has played with this a few times so now I know that it would be worth splashing out for a top of the range one. I've seen a few reviews saying its uncomfortable however you can easily adjust the straps and as for the weight I have noticed absolutely no difference between the weight of this and the weight of my nieces occulus VR headset. Overall I would say this is a great headset for kids and perfect for testing the water before buying the real deal. Definitely do some research into what switch games you can play on here though as you may be disappointed with the lack of.

No problem with the item or the delivery but one huge disappointment was that my address sticker was over the back of the box. There are instructions on the box and so had to peel of address sticker which left a very sticky feel to the box. As this was for a present I was not at all happy. Not good Amazon this is the second purchase that has arrived without packaging and the sticky label stuck to the picture on the actual box.😡

There's a huge list of switch vr games on the internet, but that's for some other headset from Nintendo that isn't made any more, apparently. My kid has some games with VR mode that should work with this headset, but they're unplayable in vr mode. He couldn't move in Mario Odyssey, the controllers didn't work on Super Smash Bros... etc. Amazing value for money, but entirely pointless.

Tl;Dr great if you're a huge switch fan but not necessary for an average gamer. I'll split this review in two sections: The product: functionally, it's great for the cost. Solid build, comfortable for short term uses, I wear large glasses and it fit without major issues/scratches. I used the normal switch (no OLED) and the straps seem like they're not about to fit but it keeps the switch secured. Additionally, it got here a day early! I missed out on Labo VR but wanted to try out the features, so this really was the next best thing and possibly an improvement given the headstrap. Plus, my phone (while a tad smaller) for fairly well in the headset so I was able to watch some VR videos on YouTube. Practical Use: I only have a few games that support VR, and not many in general do. Breath of the Wild - probably the best of the bunch, the quality is definitely hit, but it's a cool way to experience the full game. You essentially act as the camera, but can still use the C stick to aim. Mario Odyssey - there are just a few predefined levels made, which is cool to see focus on it. However, they're incredibly short and limited in range, you can't explore the full level but rather stay in fixed positions where you simply turn around. Smash Bros - possibly the worst of the bunch. You can only experience local single player matches. No items. Only timed. Limited stages. And the really annoying part, the joycons must be connected to the switch at all times and nothing else can be supported. It's cool to see some of the full stages where available but it's not much. If you're a big switch fan who's been dying to try it I think it's definitely a must buy, but for the average consumer you aren't missing much.

Not all games for the switch are VR- like Story of Seasons, a Wonderful Life is not compatible. Only certain switch games are compatible. Zelda Breath of the Wild is compatible. Straps are adjustable; Fits well. I like the white, but the light goes through the sides. It would be better to get black. I can see the entire screen. Zelda is actually more in 3-D rather than virtual reality. I’m keeping it and buying more VR games. It’s heavy on me face.
