it is cheap, so don't expect too much on it....it is for kids.

I purchased this telescope for my dad to take photos and videos with his iPhone. The smartphone holder and tripod are both adjustable, which is easy to install and it provides HD quality images. It also includes a hand strap on the telescope so it is safe to carry around for travelling. Compared to other brands, this product feels lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. Highly recommend it!

Based on the product description, this monocular looked good, so I ordered it. When I received it and used it, it exceeded my expectations.I was looking for something with good magnification and rugged enough for travel, but that wasn't so big it would take up too much of my precious luggage space. I had some investigation work I needed to do (nothing illegal), but I was given short notice and needed something good quality, and I needed it fast. This monocular worked spectacularly, even in the low light conditions that were a constant on this assignment.The magnification is tremendous and equal to another, much larger and heavier scope I have that was too large to travel with, and so large it would be very noticeable. This scope is compact, travels well, provides all the magnification I needed, and is so good that it has replaced my other, much larger and more expensive scope.

Worked as expected. Bought to see the solar eclipse through my cellphone. Was a little tricky at first to set the right position, but managed to figure it out with some practice and error.Pros, sturdy and good craftsmanship on the monocular. Con:The tripod is small and a little flimsy especially when trying to point it 45 degrees or more. Universal connector made it easy to connect to my professional tripod.

My granddaughters 6th birthday was coming up and she's really interested in stars and planets. I thought a telescope would be a great present, but as I did the research I found the starter telescopes are really not a good idea. What I really wanted to get was a Newtonian telescope with a wide lens, but they're at least $300-500. My daughter suggested we try something different and Pankoo was "perfect." It's lightweight, portable, easy to use, and the connection to my iPhone works great. So we're able to gaze at the moon, stars, and planets and get pictures in real time. This is a great starting point for a 6 year old to understand how to use a telescope and hopefully we'll go for something bigger once we see if she's really serious about astronomy. I reviewed all the monoculars in this price range and Pankoo was all around the best quality for the price.
