Great price for the amount, the product works perfectly. I use it in alcoholado and then I put some bay leaves and gungulen in it with the crystals.

Flavor/scent is very clean and refreshing. No sediments or off-flavors/smells (very pure). Crystals are long and thin, and break up easily. They look like clear glass, and were very well packaged in the sealed foil bag (like a tougher potato chip bag). Once unpackaged, it stored easily in a Ziploc bag within a screw-top container. I double-seal it because otherwise everything in my kit would become minty. The only improvement I can possibly think of is to have the product packaged in a zipper-style foil bag straight from the manufacturer, to protect the storage freshness better, but that's not worth dropping stars over. As stated, I'm using this menthol for homemade vape juice, so the following pertains only to this particular usage: This menthol melts down easily in warm 20/80 PG/VG at about 1/2 teaspoon per 100mL, and doesn't recrystallize when the juice cools at that concentration. Used hot water (192 F) from my Keurig to submerge and warm the bottled juice past menthol's melting point, which was conveniently written on the packaging. Once warmed, I just shook the bottles until the crystals and liquid density separations were no longer visible when held up to a bright light. Made 100mL test batch at 1/2tsp per 100mL concentration, loved it, and now have a 500mL bottle for refilling my safety-capped bottles. Wouldn't use more than 1tsp per 100mL, since it's so powerful already at half that. For reference, I can flavor almost ten liters of vape juice at this concentration with this one 8 oz. bag of menthol--an insanely good deal compared to bottled flavors. I'm saving so much money, I'm mad at my past self for not doing this sooner. Overall, I love this stuff. Will absolutely buy again when I need it, though that won't be for a while. ;)

As a bath and body maker, these are a staple. I usually buy 1 lb+ bags from a dedicated supplier, but sometimes shipping times are two weeks plus, so I use these to get my buy. They work perfectly, although they're a bit expensive compared to buying in bulk. Used for shower steamers, ultimint soap, and my diy biofreeze/icy hot. If you're new to menthol, fair warning they're strong. I wear two pairs of vinyl gloves and my hands go numb after mixing my steamers. Not recommended for sensitive areas.

I had an upper respiratory infection, and my nose was completely stopped up. I was really congested. I tried using Vicks VapoRub, but it was pretty mild it helped a little, but not enough. I needed something stronger, so I ordered menthol crystals. When I tell you it opened me up like a chicken… it did not disappoint.

Ok so I'm an idiot. My bright idea was to throw some into my bath along with my usual Epsom salts. So I did. And that is where the exhilarating nightmare began. I probably tossed about 2 tablespoons worth or maybe a bit less into what I thought would be a leisurely, sinus-opening, muscle relaxing evening of bliss. I then left the bathroom as my tub was filling and as I walked back approaching the bathroom I was thinking I was entering a steam room at a spa or health club and I was excited to plop myself in! In the first 10 seconds or so I was inhaling deeply thinking this was going to be great and thinking Amazon was God's gift having all these odd goodies one cannot find at a local store. And then it hit me... Like in that nanosecond before you fall, or are in a car crash, or whatever (but we all know that split second feeling of dread) - I won't relay here the choice of words that bubbled to my lips but I was no longer happy, I just knew if I stayed submerged even that second longer I'd be in deep trouble. Turns out, I already was. I jumped up, pulled the plug, through on the shower, grabbed a brillo pad type loofa and a bar of good old Irish Spring and started scrubbing for dear life to get the menthol the BLEEP off of me all the while spewing forth menthol, icy-hot derived expletives. Mind you, It was August and after I made my rapid exodus from the bath, I ran to my armoire freezing and teeth chattering as much as Rose Dawson laying on a door floating in the middle of the North Atlantic, if not more, while frantically digging through every sweater, sweatshirt, and frickin' fur hat and scarf I own and dressing faster than I believe I ever had. I also managed to find and fire up two heating pads and a neck wrap and seriously...for a good 1/2 hour I was wearing all of it. Sorry to be so intense here but that is exactly what it was, and therefore it is my sincere hope that no one will succumb to their own idiocy as I did. NEXT TIME (If I get up the courage to try again) I will use NO MORE than a pinch of these little nuclear bombs in a hot bath again. No more than a pinch to start, people!!! I surprisingly saw no reviews, however for using them in a bath so at least I can honestly say I didn't know! Please enjoy as they are powerful and I'm sure I'll love mixing again in moderation...just learn my lesson and you'll be fine :-)
