Complete shanner
Honestly. I cannot believe they want me to review this thing after what I wrote to get it returned. But, whatever, here it goes. So, this thing arrives. The first thing I notice is that the package is actually nice. Nice, neat and clean. I open it. Boom! Nothing like the pictures. I am pretty sure they glued the silicone parts flush to the frame to add the illusion that the whole kit was made or at least coated with silicone for sound proofing. Nope. What came was a loose, shoddy, and ill fitting silicone sleeve over the whole kit. The mounting brackets did not fit in any shape or form. It was like this was designed by a guy or girl who have never even seen a stick of RAM. Anyway. The build quality was sub-par and honestly looking at it I thought it a disgrace to even put it in my case. So, I didn't. I did however hook it up to see what kind of noise it would put out. The answer is a lot. I mean a lot. My wife ran up the stairs because she thought I was running a food pro in the office... obviously I wasn't. It just sounded like I was. Not long after letting it spin (maybe a minute?) it started to squeal. I could not hear a thing over these little fans. They obviously were running at full clip and completely ignoring my fan tune settings.Long story short: I have two 140mm fans in my case on a AIO CPU cooler. I have five 120mm fans running cool air through the chassis. I have a high end GPU. None could be heard over the grating, grinding squeal of this 'RAM cooler'.

Great Fans when used with voltage reducer and PWM control.
This review is for the fans. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product. The quality meets my expectations. In my opinion, the silicone skin actually fits really good compared to other silicon skins. The fans are PWM fans, and are wired together correctly. 1 fan has 4 wires, the 2nd only 3 wires. This is the correct way to split fans, with the RPM being read from 1 of the fans and not the other.I mounted these as 60mm case fans and used a noise reducer or voltage resistor to lower the voltage and noise. Using both the voltage and PWM adjustments the fan spins at around 1,400 RPM during mild use.

Bought for insurance. I do not think I really needed it, but I can see it because of the window in my side panel.
