Awesome quality green coffee beans for the home roaster.
We love coffee. We have been buying coffee from all over the world for several years. After watching several videos on roasting your own coffee we decided to take the plunge and purchase bulk green coffee beans. Although it takes a little practice to get the roasting part squared away the final product is some of the best, freshest coffee I have tasted. The green coffee beans store for a lifetime unlike already roasted coffee that begins to decline in quality almost before it makes to the store. After roasting and drinking several pounds of home roasted coffee the difference it very apparent. I have roasted these beans for friends, family and co workers and they all have enjoyed the flavor of fresh roasted coffee. If you love quality coffee and don't mind a little work to get it than you cannot go wrong with Expo Cafe green coffee beans. We have tried the Ethiopian, the Columbia and will be making another order for more soon. I shared some pictures of green coffee before and after roasting.

Excellent Coffee
Well packaged and by far the best Columbian Green Beans we have roasted. I roast a lot of Kona Coffee beans and I am being told these beans rival the Kona...WOW‼️HIGH PRAISE‼️

Very long shelf life before roasting .
I bought a 5 lb. bag of this over six years ago . I roasted it in very small batches using a hot air popcorn popper . This coffee was very robust ( roasted dark ) and delicious . About a pound never got roasted . I wrapped it tightly and put it in the back of a cupboard . I forgot about it until recently ( it's been over 6 years now ) . So I roasted it up using the same method . It tasted just as good as the day I bought it . Since it keeps so well , I'm going to buy more . I like this brand of coffee ./

Good coffee good price
So I've been buying this coffee for some time now from this particular distributor. The price is very attractive. The coffee has great flavor I roast it in a kitchen aid mixer with a heat gun on a held stand. Some batches had some inconsistent sizes in coloration in the beans before I roasted leading to some inconsistent color and the final roast. My most recent shipments are showing a lot more consistency. I hope this continues. All in all very good coffee for the money.

Great Christmas gift
I’ve had this coffee at home. My daughter said her hubby wanted some coffee beans for Christmas.

the bean expands nicely and the husk comes off and flakes away nicely
We have gone through a little over 40lbs of this so far. We roast a breakfast blend, medium roast, and dark roast with them so far. The dark roast is extra smokey at the second crack, but the flavor is what you expect of a dark roast as well. When roasting it first gives a wet-grass kind of smell when it goes from green to yellowish and the moisture starts to exit some. The first crack to a light medium, the bean expands nicely and the husk comes off and flakes away nicely. In the second crack the bean expands again and darkens dramatically. I mostly use Brazilian and Colombian beans so far. I just know them and roast them more than other regions, but getting to know your been profile takes time and practice. There are tips and tricks for any hobby, craft, or business. These are very good green coffee beans and the shipping, order fulfillment, has always been top notch from this company to us so far.

Flavorful and rich
For SA means, my go-to is Supremo but I wanted to try something different. These beans have great flavor (charged at 190C, dropped and cooled at 210C over ~19 minutes) but also have quite a bit of residual silverskin in the middle fold. It's fine though and I don't believe it affects the flavor, just an observation. I would totally buy this again!

Not the greatest…
I was not able to pull a good shot. I changed the recipe and the grind, but always came out sour. I did notice that the darker I roasted, the better the taste.
