In my opinion, scent is just as important as the ingredients in products. I am not opposed to unscented if there's not a safe scent. But Attitude makes worry free formulas that have scent. However, I've never used their products before and there are no stores around me that sell their products for me to go and sniff in person.On Amazon it was difficult to discern whether this "Attitude Little Ones Night" fabric softener was actually different from the "Attitude Little Ones Sweet Lullaby" fabric softener. I thought maybe they would be the same formula with an updated package for one, so I bought both to compare side by side.The two pictured are not the same scent. They both do the same job, and do it well. However the "Sweet Lullaby" has more of a light lavender scent and the "Night" just has a light, sweet scent. Neither are overwhelming like the junk in every grocery store.I can't comment on long-term use (like build-up), since I just started using this product.I also can't comment on the price. I have no idea how much this would cost in a store, every day price. I'm certain I got gouged on Amazon for both scents because they were sold by independent vendors. If you like these products, and are loyal to them, I strongly suggest shopping around for the best price.

Like a lot of products, I wanted to love this. I started to notice my Downy Ball was getting cloudy, but didn't pay too much attn until my 3rd order of Attitude Fragrance free (pink bottle) that it actually left a thick sticky film inside the ball, probably from the oils they use. It's thick like bacon grease on a pan only more difficult to get rid of. Can't imagine what it was doing to our clothes. A family member actually reported their clothes feeling weird (can't recall the actual complaint). I never put two and two together. Sad part is I have 1/2 bottle doing nothing, and a full unopened bottle that apparently I cannot return! I don't want to give it to anyone either, because if I won't use it why should I pawn it off on some poor unsuspecting other person!?!

I really like the soft chamomile scent. It smells like baby soap or a baby’s room. I’m not fond of the Sweet Lullaby because it smells more commercial like a downy softener. After the dryer the scent is very mild, so it won’t be overwhelming. This softens well and doesn’t irritate my son’s sensitive skin. The formula is very thin, which I like because it seems like it won’t be sticky with a lot of build up, like other brands.I’m updating this review. I tried a couple more scents and the sweet lullaby and unscented are thick as hell. After just a week my washer was completely clogged up. I poured boiling water into the lines to try to dissolve some of the softener, but it would not dissolve. It’s thick and sticky like wax of some sort. I then used pipe cleaners to get some of the sticky residue out, which worked enough so I could use my detergent compartment again. I can’t imagine what this is doing to my clothes if even boiling water will not dissolve this stuff. I didn’t believe the other comments about it being this bad, but it is. The Chamomile does not have this issue, so I would fully recommend that scent.

Um WOW- the smell of this. I just can’t stop smelling it! AND the fact that it’s a clean EWG approved product... count me in forever! I use it on my laundry combined with Molly’s Suds peppermint detergent powder and oxygen powder... and the result is unreal! Smell and cleaning ability- I’ve never found clean products that clean as well as these. I’ve also used this combined with baking soda to clean my carpets- really cleans and leaves that heavenly scent but not in an overpowering way. Love!!!

My handicapped brother has chemical sensitivities. He recently moved closer to me so that I could care for him. I bought chemical free dryer sheets, he said that his former caregiver bought bottled fabric softener and he liked how soft his clothes felt. As I use the wool balls in my dryer, I thought I would purchase a bottle of this and keep the wool balls to make sure that this achieved the softness level that he wants. This has surpassed my expectations, and will definitely be buying this for him once we make it thru the box of dryer sheets, and I will not be sharing the test bottle. Excellent in everyway.

Not the same as purchased in store. Extremely thin almost like skim milk when it’s usually like heavy cream. The scent was the same but almost undetectable. The bottle seemed too full? Like it may have been watered down a bit?? I hope this wasn’t the case that make me sooooooo uncomfortable. This is my first bad experience shopping in Amazon. Skip this product/seller.

I really wanted to like this product and I use their laundry detergent no problem but this softener is way too thick. It gets stuck in the dispenser so I end up having to remove and rinse out the dispenser a few times a week and or else it starts to mold. Half way through the bottle I decided to thin it out with water and that worked better but now then I didnt know how much to use. Not buying this again and would not recommend.

It’s a little weird. It’s clumpy and thick and will not entirely drain from the washers dispenser. I thought I just got a defected product but it seems that this is the norm based on others comments here. Don’t waste your $. Buy others. Wish I could return it but my return window closed.

I absolutely love most of the Attitude products and they always score very well on the Environmental Working Group website. That means no harmful ingredients and that makes me happy. This fabric softener smells so good! Not at all fake, artificial or overpowering like most commercial brands. It also works well. Well done Attitude! Thanks from a very satisfied customer!!
