Let's start with the good part: the distributor is heavy, which feels nice in the hand and it looks nice. I read the reviews that the ring can't be fixed, but I was planning to use plumber tape and if need be glue to keep it in the fixed position. that worked but then after three days the wood cracked, so now it looks horrible with two cracks running up to the top on either side. I was expecting this so I only bought to see if a distributor does the job, which is confirmed. So now I'll spend the money on a decent one.

Looks nice, but not really functional.The distributor is on a screw to adjust height, but there is nothing to keep it in place at that height.After 2 days the wood cracked. It’s not suitable to store on top of a heated espresso machine.

never buy products on amazon that don't have proper reviews.this distributor looks amazing, better than the pictures when you see it.But when you want to set the depth, unfortunately there is nothing that can hold it in place, other distributors will have two pieces that can be screwed and unscrewed to fix it, this one doesn't.even if it does, and has a different mechanism, it did not come with instructions to show me how to.
