The only gimbal you need
Update: it is compatible with the Zhiyun TransMount Quick Setup Adapter. There is a youtube review saying it is not compatible because the adapter would black the flip out screen. However, in my test, after installing the adapter, the screen can still be flipped out without any problem. The Weebill 2 weighs 3.2 lbs and measured at 16in tall. It is one pound heavier than the Weebill S and just a little taller. However, the build quality is much better. Most of the gimbal body is now metal. It feels much more robust and could be used for heavy duty jobs while still maintaining a compact size. I have never had problems with the payload capacity of the Weebill S and the Weebill 2 has an even higher payload. Zhiyun has stopped giving out official payload capacity but you should have no problem using the Weebill 2 with BMPCC cameras. The gimbal arm locks are also much more sturdy now.Weebill 2 is using the new Infineon two-filter interruption vector-splitting sensor. Basically it can compensate any micro-jittery. Comparing my test footage of the Weebill 2 and the Weebill S I can tell the Weebill 2 footage is more stable. In this case the difference is not very obvious, but that is because I was using a light setup. If you have a heavier setup you should be able to easily tell the difference. The biggest feature of the Weebill is probably the flip out screen. I don’t have the video transmitter so I can not test the image transmission function, but the screen makes setting parameters much easier. It is a very bright touch screen with great responsiveness. The menu design is simple and clear. You can easily change pretty much any parameter of the gimbal in just a few touches from the screen. You can set the angle of the screen from 45 degree facing up to 90 degree facing straight down.Weebill 2 has moved all the control buttons and the joystick to the left side of the handle to avoid any mis-control when holding the handle. I really like the joystick design, making it very easy to precisely control the rate of movement. The Weebill 2 is now using a built-in rechargeable battery. In my test, using a pd charger I can get to about 25% battery with 20 min of charging. A full charge would take 90min and the battery would last 9 hours according to Zhiyun. However, balancing the camera correctly is very important to having a longer battery life. You can also charge the battery using a usb-c cable even while you are using the gimbal. In conclusion, the Weebill 2 is like combining the Crane 2s and the Weebill S, providing a heavier payload and robust build quality while maintaining the compact size. The flip out screen and menu design makes it easy to change any setting of the gimbal. And most importantly, it is very stable. I would definitely recommend it!

A small but nice improvement
This Gimbal works just as great as the original Zhiyun Weebil S in terms of stability, the biggest change in this new version is the onboard touch monitor. The touch monitor works perfectly for what it is needed for, instead of the previous version with a small screen showing the settings and stabilization mode, the touch screen is much more intuitive and convenient. The monitor allows you to go through the different settings right there on the system instead of pulling out a phone, which I find to be more professional when working on set. The screen is also very bright and clear making it very easy to see in the daylight. When not in use, I like that the monitor can be folded away cleanly on the gimbal. The other big change on this gimbal is the placement of the joystick that controls the movement of the camera. Instead of having the joystick on the center of the handle, it is placed on the left side for a better ergonomic hold. I do find this as a double sided knife as this favors right handed people when using the gimbal. The battery is also integrated into the gimbal system itself, which forces you to charge the gimbal directly. I feel like this is the the biggest downside of the gimbal, as you cannot change out the batteries when on set, you must plug it in and wait for it to charge which can make you look very unprofessional on set. I wish that this had interchangeable batteries like the previous version. Other than that, I can definitely tell that the quality of this gimbal is much more better than the Weebil S as this is made with some sort of light metal. If you are looking for a gimbal for your small mirrorless camera, than this will do the job. However, the previous version works just as well in terms of stability.

The best just got better… A lot better!
I just upgraded from the WeeBill S to the Zhiyun Weebill 2, and it is quite the upgrade. This thing has a flip out screen and a dedicated mode switch. So no more remembering the secrete “Hand Shakes” to make certain functions happen, you know, like press a button twice to do this and three times to do that!... Well there is still some of that, but it is more logical and intuitive. This design is unique in that when you attach a rear handle you can easily drop it down to a low-slung position and get those low angle shots.Built in to the flip out screen menu are a Time Lapse and a Motion lapse modes! Very easy to set up the motion and camera parameters and with your camera hooked up your done, and it works! You don’t have to go into the app to do this.Take a look into getting the Wireless Transmitter to accompany this gimbal. With it, and the app on your device of choice, you can have a live view to the flip out screen. It also has subject tracking, which is so very handy if you are filming yourself. It will also send a video feed out to any WIFI enabled device, phone or tablet. So wireless monitoring! If you are old (school) like me, that just seams amazing. If that weren’t enough, Zhiyun also makes a wireless receiver and monitor combination they call the Master Eye. Wireless video monitoring with full camera and gimbal controls. So a second operator could be running the camera and gimbal moves from the Master Eye, while the other is flying the gimbal. All the functions are right at your fingertips on the flip out screen, even better, the main modes have a dedicated switch on the handle. The build quality is very nice and improved over the S model. Motor strength and payload is also increased. No problem flying a full size DSLR, with a good sized lens.If you have been thinking about getting a gimbal this is a great place to start. A Lot of functionality and pretty easy to operate. There is a learning curve and it does take practice. There are lots of YouTube videos on how to get good footage with a gimbal, and The Zhiyun web site has tutorial videos for set up and operation.Check out the kits they have with various accessories. The basic gimbal comes with a small tripod for the bottom but not a back handle unless you get the next level up kit, then it comes with a rear handle and a carry bag. But get a rear handle at a minimum for full advantage.FYI, the fitted hard foam case the comes with the gimbal fits perfectly in a Pelican 1450 hard case for supper secure transport.Zhiyun customer service was very responsive when I recently had an issue with my transmitter, so I think they are a good company to deal with.Good luck and I will update my video when I get my Transmitter replacement.

I've been waiting for this!
I've been waiting for the Weebill 2 for a long time I have the original Weebill and the Weebill S so I was super excited when the Weebill 2 was announced. The Weebill 2s build quality is amazing it is made out of all metal not like the last one that was mostly plastic. This gimbal feels really smooth I like the slight redesign but still resembles the original. I really like the new button placement I mean if you're left handed it won't really work for you but I'm not so it's not a big deal Candace screen and also welcome addition just because I don't have to use the app to change the settings which is pretty cool saves a lot of time but you can watch the video and see all the settings that we go through on the gimbal I hope this helps any questions feel free to ask
