This is a fantastic pulley. I love that it rolls incredibly smoothly and it is strong enough to support more weight than I can imagine putting on it.I appreciate the design of the pulley with the bottom being attached so even if there is a catastrophic failure of the bearing the rope has no way of escaping the cage.At only $14 this "NAXEN 20kN Micro Pulley Climbing Pulley Aluminum Pulley" is a fantastic deal that can be used both for climbing or for home projects.

Worked great at first, but after a few days of light use on the tree house it froze up and no longer spins.

Love these small and smooth pullies.They are rated at a little one 2,200 lbs of force on the pull-down and about 4,500lbs on pull on the pully up. Thats a lot of force for a small pulley.This means I can safely use this to climb, repel, and hoist a number of things with no problem.Really having these on your pack is great. Along with some good rope your are good to go. With a little lightweight pully like this one that weights 88g its easy to throw in the pack with a few carabiners and rope.Im super happy with is plus the finish is really fine.A+ on this one.

The media could not be loaded.  Tree workers and climbers tend to use these for tending, not full life support. That's my use of this pulley and others like it. Simple and solid. You may find smoother action on pricey pulleys but this works to tend just fine.Video shows the pulley up close.

This is a top quality pulley that I can use for climbing or other things where I need a strong pulley that can take up to a 13mm (1/2inch) rope. This is CE Certified and rated for 20 KiloNewtons, 10 per rope side. This pulley turns exceptionally smoothly, won't rust since it is anodized aluminum. This is a well finished pulley that I use for hoisting and holding things in my garage. It looks sturdy enough to use for climbing, but I haven't been a climber in many years, so I did not test it that way. I can say that so far it is a super duty component for helping me keep things in order in my garage-shop.I have super confidence that this will not let a sheet of plywood drop!

This pulley works very well and the mechanics are nice and smooth. I enjoy indoor and outdoor climbing so having a variety of equipment on hand is always a good idea. Holding up pretty well so far so i'm happy with it overall.
