Worked without work
Put the battery in, pointed it at the Apple TV and it worked. Yes it’s just plastic but nothing more needed. No need to buy a more expensive remote than this one.

This product was useless
The only thing we were able to do was turn TV off and on not able to change channel not able to use for volume! Very Misrepresented! Ended up having to re-purchase a real remote. The picture is showing that it’s not even as large as a plastic fork and believe me it works just as good as a plastic fork.

Not APPLE but works like APPLE
Not exact but affordable and easy to use and setup. Worked great as nd exactly what was needed! A little thicker than Apple Remote but this is proper.

Feels cheap. Works.
These feel really cheap, but they do work (once you get a battery). Just be careful how the battery slides in between the two prongs. If you just need one I would get the real Apple one. If you live in a house where children place them in cereal bowls and dogs bury them in the yard, then a few of these for the same price sort of makes sense.

Cheap Plastic, Instructions Wrong, no battery.
It works and is cheaper than the original to replace. The instructions to connect the remote were wrong, I had to go online and find other instructions which eventually worked. It automatically connected to my Mac but not the Apple TV. anytime I push a button it will now turn on both the Apple TV and the Mac. Does not include battery! (CR2032)

Apple Remote doesn’t work
We followed the setup directions several times and tried troubleshooting. We couldn’t get the remote to work at all. Faulty cheap equipment from china
