Heavy duty metal microphone
Firstly, I contacted the manufacturer before buying to ask what the difference was between the first version and this one (the mk2). Golden Age said it used a new dynamic capsule that had a flatter response. In my own usage, this does seem accurate. Do keep in mind that every review on YouTube as of me writing (7-31-2022) are of the first version. Some of those sound good, and some sound a bit “boxy” for whatever reason. The mk2 does not have that problem with me. Very well built, and has a good broadcast dynamic sound. Play with the filter switches and see what you like best!
