Works great with iPhone, but iPhone doesn't let a keyboard do much.
Smartphones are more powerful than our PC's of five years ago. Have you ever wished you could just put your smartphone on a stand, connect a keyboard and mouse, and use it like a PC? You can download Microsoft Office to view documents, but are you seriously going to create documents or type an email message with your two thumbs? All of that power is going to waste for lack of input.I know it would be great to have a portable, fold-up keyboard. But it's usually not practical to carry more items around than your smartphone. And you're probably not going to use a keyboard everywhere you go. But if you're on travel and have to carry a suitcase or backpack anyway, there's plenty of room for one of these. In fact, I use mine at home, and hardly anywhere else. So why not have a full-size, non-folding keyboard? When I'm home, I put my iPhone on a stand with this keyboard in front of it. It's like a mini workstation. Responding to texts is much easier with a full-size keyboard. For that matter, typing anything -- whether it's a note or a grocery list or an email -- is easier with a full-size keyboard. The keyboard powers off when idle and comes back on by pressing a key. So there's no connecting or disconnecting. It's automatic, as long as you keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone. The only problem is that good ol' Steve Jobs didn't make the iPhone with a keyboard in mind. So its usage is very limited. You can type a text, for instance, but you can't make it send. Go ahead. Give it a try. Use every key combo imaginable. After you've given up, just reach over and push the send button on the iPhone screen like you always do. It would be much more convenient to be able to set options for the send button. Alas! Good ol' Steve Jobs also didn't make the iPhone very configurable. That's just not the Apple way. Also, it would be really cool to navigate in Safari with the keyboard. Here again, there is no way to scroll a web page with the arrow keys of the keyboard. Would have been nice. Tab, spacebar, enter, and backspace keys don't do anything, either. Good news is that you can type in a nasty URL with ease.Well, it's no PC experience, but it's better than nothing! I give this keyboard five stars for quality and good looks. It's a good piece of kit. Just wish iPhones would give keyboards a little more respect.

Good keyboard for those times when you need a compact unit at a reasonable price.
I bought this BlueTooth Keyboard For two reasons. First I needed a small keyboard capable of using with an Apple TV as I hate searching using the cursor and select method that so many devices use. Second is it is small enough to take along on trips to use with a tablet or a phone. The unit works nicely for both I paired it with the Anker Muiti-Angle portable stand and I must say I am happy with the combination. I rated the KB for stars for a number of reasons which are purely personal preferences and not really flaws in the item.1. I don't care for KBs with no numeric keypad.2. I am not overly fond of BT KBs3. I don't care for KBs with no tactile feedback when pressed.Probably the reason I feel that way is that I grew up old school. I have been using Matias Tactile Pro KBs for a few years now because I like the mechanical key switches that you can both feel and hear when they are pressed far enough to register. That being said I am happy with my purchase. It does what I need and the KB seems to be well constructed. I bought the two items for a combined price that was $29 less than the Logitech BlueTooth KB with a built in slot to set your tablet/phone in at an angle. To be fair the Logitech unit could pair with more than one unit at a time but I didn't need that.

I am satisfied with my purchase
I ordered the keyboard so that I could use my 2009 Macbook in clamshell mode with a larger monitor for activities requiring more "desk" space.Three factors lead me to decide on this particular product. Price was the first to catch my eye, but the second and probably the most important was that this keyboard was, in fact, designed for Apple products as opposed to only Windows products as most others. The third factor is its appearance. For costing less than 1/3 the price of the Apple Bluetooth keyboard, it very closely resembles that unit in its overall appearance. Thus far this keyboard has worked as advertised. The Apple specific functions work as intended as well. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. I saved some money, have the basic appearance of the original, and appear to have all of the features as well in an Apple specific wireless keyboard.

Good keyboard, less expensive than Apple branded
I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks and I like it. The key feel is good, it paired easily with my Macbook Pro (OS X 10.11.4) and the key at the upper right functions as the escape key in almost all applications. As some reviewers pointed out, it takes about 10 seconds to wake from a deep sleep but I don't have a problem with that. A very minor issue is that, in 2 or 3 apps I use, like Commander One, I need to press "Fn+Esc" to get the escape function to work. Not that big a deal for me. I can't comment on battery life because I've only had it a few weeks. I recommend this to anyone who would like a less expensive alternative to an Apple branded keyboard.

Great value, pairs and works great, but will drain batteries if left in
I bought more than one of these for myself and for gifts for family, so you know they are pretty good. They are reasonably easy to pair, and I've used them with Android, Windows and iOS devices very successfully. The batteries last OK while you're using it, although I haven't measured exactly how long due to the following reason: If you leave the batteries in for a long time (say a few weeks) with the switch turned off, the batteries do eventually drain all the way to dead. It isn't a huge deal, thus losing only 1 star, but if you plan on storing these for a while without using them, pull the batteries, and have some spares on hand.
