Reliable Bulbs
The bulbs are working as they should and my turtles are getting the UV and heat they need. From my experience, this is a reliable brand. I've had some trouble with previous sellers on Amazon not sending the bulbs and having to get reimbursed. No issues with this seller.

Exo Terra bulbs are the Way to Go!
Perfect for my Hermit Crabs! I have an Exo -Terra 36 x 24 x 18 terrarium and use on on either side... my crabs are out and about during the day as well as night and they are far more active with these bulbs... because these are mercury bulbs, they can turn off then on again if you bump them while on. That is normal. I do not turn them on until they are in position and ready for the day and have no issues with them flickering on and off during day. I turn them off at night before moving them to set up my Exo Terra Night Bulb and Flukers ceramic heat bulb. Love these lights!

Not a good quality bulb AND not an actual mercury bulb.
DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU NEED AN ACTUAL MERCURY UVB BULB! I purchased these about a year ago as extra bulbs once the one at the time would need to be changed.. I swapped them on August 23rd this year and this morning on November 3rd it was flickering once every 10 seconds... that is NOT your typical mercury bulb... mercury bulbs instantly break 70% of the time if they even flicker from a power surge. So now I have no idea if my lizard has been getting the correct lights she needs for the past 3 months. Not trusting this seller or brand again.

Works great but....
The buld is excellent and brought the colors out in my animals, however; it only lasted 6 months. I'm not sure how long it was supposed to last but seems short.

So far so good!
One of the only bulbs I could find that has both the UV and basking characteristics. So far our turtle likes it quite well. It's important to note that that light will not turn on for a while once it's been turned off. You have to let it cool down for about 15 minutes. A bit confusing at first when I thought the bulb blew after the first use!

Lampada a vapori di mercurio tutto in uno, UVA UVB e calore, permette di non utilizzare le due lampade separate con notevole risparmio. Dura circa un anno ma è importante evitare l'accendi-spegni e l'utilizzo non perfettamente verticale perchè ne diminuisce notevolmente la durata.

Best thing with no need for a starter. There's no need to wait for it to cool down before turning it back on. And it's cheaper to run too.

At the first start it generated massive heat, much more than it should. had to hang it up very high for an 80W MVB and it was still getting basking area to dangerous temperatures. After first switch off, it never turned on back again. I use Exo Terra bulbs but there is something wrong with this one.
