Another brilliant book by Jim Rickards
I loved the book - very up to date with some interesting take on current affairs. Jim has his own opinion and is not scared to share it, opening our minds to wider influences in the current environment. Looking forward to his next book! Or at least an interview online - he's very consistent with his observations which is a breath of fresh air in the current climate.

Superb and timely book
Timely and highly efficient, Rickards examines a less familiar area, supply chains, but uses his usual flair for explaining the implications for the world economy. The book opens by examining the reality of supply chains, something most of us will need a refresher on, and proceeds to explain the ramifications of supply chain break down, and how this can take years, even decades, to rebuild. The last chapters of the book involve monetary policy of the Fed and the increasing likelihood of deflation, along with some investment recommendations on behalf of the author. An interesting policy prescription Rickards prescribes is a new world of Supply Chains centred upon a league of democracies, wherein China and other such countries would be excluded. An interesting policy prescription, but one that this reader isn't exactly convinced upon the feasibility of such. However, this is perhaps the only area where this reader doesn't see eye to eye with Rickards in what is yet another superb work and strongly recommended to anyone concerned with the Global Economy.

Vital reading if previous works anything to go by
I think the title of my review sums up my thoughts on Jim’s latest book. It’s wonderfully written - interesting, well-structured, factual and occasionally cantankerous (but without ever straying away from the facts). I’ve read all his previous books - sadly often a few years after them being written - and I can safely say Sold Out is vital reading if the prophetic nature of the others are anything go by. Enjoy!

I got bored
I didn't finish this book. It's too ranty and the author seems to have heavy political biases which are irrelevant. Shame as it seemed like it could have been an interesting topic.

Lo recomiendo
Excelente libro. Da un seguimiento de los problemas en la cadena de suministro y cómo es que un análisis erróneo de la situación en muchas ocasiones empeoró los resultados. Lo recomiendo.

Excellent Book
I really enjoyed this book and finished it in less than a week which is fast for me. It is up-to-date, including data from mid-2022. Jim writes in a way that you don't need to be an economist to understand. It was fascinating how he describes the implosion of the existing supply chain and how re-building the global supply chain is like re-building the whole economy.

Supply Chain 101, 102, 200 & 201 all at one time
This book was a great read. From the history of the Supply Chain 1.0 to the understanding of how we have to hit Supply Chain 2.0 sooner than later and the things that will make that tough to do but necessaty. I was not sure what to expect from this book but I am so glad I read it. I have worked with our Supply Chain group for 20 years but never understood what they do until now. I even had a discussion at lunch today and could speak their language!!!

Excellent book to describe the new Supply Chain and Role of Money
The author reports a detailed and reasonable description of how:1) the Supply Chain worked in the past and what it is suppossed to become in the future;2) the Role of Money, with a particular focus on inflation and its effects/relations with the Global Supply ChainIn conclusion an excellent book I suggest you to read asap.
