For nearly 30 years, the GT-2000 series has been the stability shoe of choice for a variety of runners, ranging from casual weekend warriors to top marathon finishers. If you're looking for a lightweight and cushioned running shoe to help support your foot, the GT-2000 9 model is an excellent choice. The fit of the GT-2000 9 shoe has been redesigned with a one-piece mesh construction to create an improved fit. This new upper material has also been reinforced in key areas for added support as the foot rolls through the gait cycle. The shoe's upper is also made with recycled materials, while the sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces carbon emissions and water usage. Lastly, a combination of FLYTEFOAM technology and GEL technology cushioning are positioned in the midsole to help promote lightweight comfort and reduce the overall shock from impact.

ASICS 2000 shoes are always a great fit and comfortable!
I buy these shoes for my son on his birthday and Christmas because they are so well made and comfortable.

Great running shoes and so stylish!
My husband has worn Asic GT2000's for years. He has Plantar Fasciitis and they are the only shoes that are comfortable for him. These are also super stylish & look so good on!

Great shoe
Great shoe. Fits/feels like a dream (7.5 Med). Taking one star away because this pair obviously were previously worn and returned. The seller (The Act of Living, Fort Worth, TX) might have given me a discount (10%?) on the $120 list price for a mint-condition pair. Oh well...Amazon. Next pair I'm ordering directly from Asics to ensure that I'm the first person to wear them.

ASICS Always a quality shoe
I have been wearing Asics for a several years. My first pair of GTs have over 350 miles on them and they still have some life in them. They are semi-retired now. These GT-2000 9 were comfortable out of the box. And with a bit over a 100 miles on them they still look almost new. Very slight wear on the sole. I also have a pair of Hoka. Good shoes as well. But, for me the Asics GTs have a lot longer life span.

Wide shoes for Happy feet
I do a lot of walking usually around theme parks and switching to wides my feet don't hurt at all. These are plush and give plenty of room so your feet aren't cramped. I'll never go back to regular widths again.

Great training shoe, perfect fit and definitely a quality product, with ample shock absorbing ability, which was my main reason for selecting this particular brand and model.My order was shipped on time, and was delivered quickly also.

Comfortable
These shoes are very comfortable for walking for several miles at a time.
