Only reason why I left out a star is because the original collar that comes with the product did not work great on my big boy. It kept loosening as he was playing, running or just being active. I had to find and buy a different collar with a buckle. Having said that, it fit perfectly on the reciever. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It's easy to use and was strong enough to help train my German that is a little over 1 year old and 100lbs. I shocked him once on accident on level 5 and the cry out he made broke my heart but it was enough for him to know and learn to be on his best behavior. I now keep it on level 4 but just by putting the collar on him, he knows to be good. I use the vibration setting to remind him that he needs to stay close by, he's still a very energetic playful pup at heart. His behavior is much better with it on then on leash. The remote holds charge for a very long time. Since I bought it about 3 months ago, I have only charged it once when I first recieved it and it still has lots of charge still. The reciever on the other hand, I use about 3 to 4 times before having to charge it but to me that's no big deal because I don't use every single day. So, if the product works for my big energetic boy, than it should work well for smaller dogs or others that are of the same size.

I have a fabulous dog problem is he doesn’t listen, and when we walk, he wants to pull my arm out of the socket. He gets distracted by other dogs and squirrels in anything he finds interesting. I hired a trainer at $2000. He gave me a choke collar to use on him with commands. The problem is my dog is headstrong, and after he wanted to chase birds he ended up coughing specks of blood. the choke collar went to the trash. So I went with another trainer, who used prong collars. I decided to give my Pup a break. But he does love his walks, so I saw this collar and thought I’d give it a try. - actually I had no intention of using the shock feature. Because upon inspection, the vibration feature is actually quite aggressive, yet benign. I zapped him by accident only once. The best feature is the sound. Now, when my pup is distracted or getting ready to bolt, I ring the sound, and he refocuses. I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our walks. He’s a new dog, and so well behaved on walks. Originally, we bought this training collar because we had a headstrong Vizsla puppy who was pulling on his leash to the point of gasping for breath and jumping up to greet visitors. I thought the "beep option" would work well, but unfortunately we had to use the other settings at first. We tried training techniques such as verbal commands with rewards and worked with him daily with no success. I didn’t want to buy an expensive training collar just in case it didn't work. At first, our dog was very confused about where the sounds or vibrations were coming from, but after he heard the sound with a command like "heel" or "off", he started to understand. We use the collar every day for recall, four on the floor, and drop commands specifically. He is now one year old and responds well to verbal commands along with beeps or vibration. The vibration feature really helps him focus. We have had to use the shock feature in the past, but it was in cases where he was totally out of control- needless to say, he doesn't like that feeling. So very happy that my HVAC technician happened to mention this collar when he saw how our puppy was out of control :) It's totally worth it! Wish it came with a lanyard... (Battery lasts about 4-5 days)

My dog, used to run after everything around my yard, without listening to me. Or simply just run off with my other dogs, now she stops and runs up to me. I only had to use the collar on setting 3 and shocked her twice since I have had this product. I just simple do the noise function now and she stops what ever she is doing and looks to me. It fits perfectly and she can swim and do everything else a dog loves. I really am truly impressed with this product and charge lasts a very long time, easy to use. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you have a dog that isn't listening or running off, or being unruly. I never thought I would have to get one of these collars because I thought they was pretty mean but this has honestly saved her life and my peace of mind. No more aggressive behavior, just a simple beep and the whole demeanor of the dog has changed. I will be getting another collar for my German Shepperd as well.

Got this cause our big guy had some separation anxiety and could not relax whenever we go upstairs to say goodnight to ours kids. Don’t really want dogs running up and down the house so we keep him down on the first floor, barley for 10 minutes, 15 max, and he would jump, claw, bark, whine. Tried all kinds of training techniques with no success. So we reluctantly decided to try a training collar but didn’t want to spend a bunch of money nor wanted something to invasive. Found these and we’ve been very happy with it! The vibration feature is the only one we’ve had to use and its exactly what we needed to help our guy focus and not panic. Has done wonders, to the point we rarely need the collar anymore. I tried the shock collar on myself on my leg, so it obviously works, haha. Very happy, well worth the price! Only fault is the battery does not last as long as it’s advertised. The remote will go in standby for a long time but the collar itself maybe last half that time.

Got this for our new pup and it’s really helped alot. She only had it on a few times and I just used the beep and vibrate function when she did something to get in trouble. She stopped what she was doing instantly and now she doesn’t even need to wear it. If she starts acting up I just grab the remote and if that doesn’t work I use the beep feature and she stops doing what she was doing even without having the collar on lol
